No Lollipops??!
Peace Globe update! Mexico just checked in at 8:51 pm. 43 countries and counting...
Can you guess what I am holding in my hand?
What's red, white & blue and sticks to your face?
A zit? Birthday cake? A bruise? Patriotic duct tape?
A zit? Birthday cake? A bruise? Patriotic duct tape?
No silly.
It's the little sticker they give you after you vote. The people in line ahead of me did not even want theirs.
How utterly un-American.
But I took mine and stuck it to my face.
Then I asked for a lollipop and they told me to leave.

You would think they'd be better prepared for a Queen.

I have a good feeling about this...
I just do.
I may be wrong.
The lolly was probably the deal breaker.
The sticker is nice but you're right, a lollipop would be so much better!
No lollipop? That is anti-American!!!
I would put the sticker on my forehead! They better give me one when I vote!
Awww...no sucker? Sheesh! I voted (by mail) about 2 weeks ago. Yay democracy!
I will vote on the 4th...this early voting stuff is unAmerican
Sorry...I think it stinks...
And if they are not giving lollipops, why should I vote?
Crushed - I sincerely hope you are right.
Charles - Sometimes I do tend to push the envelope.
Linda - It's the least they could do, don't ya think?
Shannon - I wanted another one for my forehead too but thought I'd better keep my pencil lips closed. I was in a government building. Causing a civil disturbance over a lollipop would not look good for the peace globe lady...
Autumn - Did they mail you a sticker?
Bond - I'll be a bit busy next week. I say whatever gets people to the polls that day is OK with me.
Please don't make a fuss when you go to the polls on Tuesday. It's really not worth the bail money.
My vote got rocked this A.M. and it couldn't have been a much smoother process. But I kept my sticker tucked in my pocket... I want to save it for the celebrations I hope will happen Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning.
My person gave me $500 and the keys...oh, yeah, I'm not supposed to talk about that.
As they say in Chicago, "Vote early and vote often!"
I voted yesterday, too.
Now, God help us!
Mojo - I kept mine. It is on the way to the scrapbook. A most momentous historical occasion for sure.
Lee - Ha ha!
Ferd - Truly!!
I think the sticker on your face and asking for a lollipop is hysterical.
And a Queen is American? Ooops. Did I think that or type it... Great you voted!
Meleah - Well, sometimes I get silly.
Bud -I painted my crown red, white & blue. They let me in just fine, wiseguy.
they obviously did not recognize the Queen of Bloggingham! pffft!
Mimi, I'll repeat to you what the volunteer poll worker told everyone as they left after voting 2 years ago.
"You are a great American".
Dawn - The nerve!
Mark - I love that! Yes, they should all say that to people. It's something you'd never forget for sure.
Wait...stickers? You got a sticker?
I never get a sticker!
Harumph!
Good for you my dear... you have a voice.
How adorable! Mimi, if you didn't really stick it to your face and then ask for a lollipop, please don't ever let me know, okay? I MUST retain that image.
