Warhol's Peace

Some sing. Some play. Some write. Some pontificate. Some photograph. Some draw. Some scribble.
Billy paints.

Canadian artist Billy Warhol, the author of the blog Billion Dollar Baloney has once again created a special series of of abstract art peace globes - as he has done for past launches. I am always amazed at the depth of creativity and emotion he puts into each piece. This year is especially vibrant. The November 2008 BlogBlast For Peace series is called "Primitive Art" and I am proud to present it as follows.
See more of Billy's extraordinary work on display at Toronto's Wynick-Tuck Gallery in this post entitled "Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Medicine's Holy Grail". The guy has a history of using and harnessing his art for good causes. I am proud to call him a friend and a peace blogger.

Let's watch Billy paint peace.....

awwwwwwww Thx Mimi!!

I am really glad U like them!! I have to come Clean tho + say I can't Paint - or at least I haven't since Grade 8 + so I just use a Simple Cheap Computer program Repligator 12 to create these - 1 Button Magic really + U get some c0ol results that allow U to kinda look like those Photoshop Pros!! + it's FUN!!

U can try it for FREE www.Ransen.com
+ at $29.95 it is a steal + Quality software that gives U over 100 c0ol FX that can be endlessly Tweaked*

I was Inspired by Andy Warhol after the Curator from the Warhol Museum gave a Talk + Slideshow in Toronto - I never realized those were all Andy's Polaroid Photographs that went in behind his Famous Celebrity Art that he applied his Awesome Neon Colourz to + essentially turned the Art World on it's Ear*

Lucky for me I picked up a Digital Camera over 10 Years ago + documented the Art + Party + Fashion + Music + People Scene in Toronto + so Art has always been a Big influence on me!! ;))

Thx for da Props Mimi + thx Everybody for yer Kind comments!!

Cheers!! Billy ;)) xoxo Peace*

+ Yes Obama all the Wayyyyyy!! for the Whole World!!!
