These are a Few of My Favorite Things.....With a DISCLAIMER
WARNING: I must have morphed into Julie Andrews last night. In retrospect and in the clear light of day this translates a bit sappy and un-nunlike. Sometimes even unMimi-like - in the sense that I bared my bubbles! I do love these things but necessity (and manners) demanded less explanation. I shall move to less frill tomorrow.
Welcome to another short and sweet post during countdown to the NaNoWriMo finish line. These things make me smile.

You forgot #20...Reynaldo! ;p
I loved your list, Queen Mimi! They are so you. I wish you endless happy days filled with your favorite things! Hugs! =)
I love nearly all your favorite things! I would add laughter without any self-consciousness with the person I love.
Hi Mimi!
I found your wonderful blog from Angel's blog and I'm glad. You created very nice place.
Today's post about your favorite things is interesting.
All the best to you!!!

That's very cool~ I enjoyed this list!
Reynaldo? Reynaldo who? Just kidding. OK. We'll make him honorary #20 if you insist. Sigh.
Absolutely, Lizza. Great addition to the list. Are you having fun on your trip?
Thanks for stopping by Krystyna. Hope to see you again soon and I'll surely check out your blog.
samuru999...Great to see you here! Thanks for stopping by.
I love a good night's sleep (which are not broken by hot flashes or night sweats LOL)

Well it's a bit girlie, Mimi, but I suppose I would have to allow you that! And, like you, I love the sound of the ocean; but one thing that worries me is #1. Do the slow kisses and bubbles have to be enjoyed at the same time? Could be a touch embarrasing.
And, be fair, if you saw a dating ad that said I love slow kisses and bubbles you would be merciless!
Mimi sweetie, honey, dearest, you forgot CHOCOLATE! Otherwise, I totally agree.
Good luck writing.
Thanks for visiting, Christine. I did leave out a lot though.
jbwritergirl.....Perhaps if I'd had a good night's sleep I wouldn't have resorted to "girlie" comments (per Bazza!) and been a bit more thoughtful in this post..instead of the whimsical mood I found myself in last night. Thanks for stopping in. ANYTIME.
Bazza...Well, I am a girl (last I checked). Actually, #1 worries me, too. I really shouldn't have written this as sleep-deprived as I was. Could drown in the bubbles. And I suppose you are correct about being cut to shred by the critics; but dear Bazza, this is not a dating site (last I checked) although I've been getting some interesting comments lately. Cowboy has disappeared! What's a girl to do?
Jan....I had chocolate on the list but I dropped it in the bubbles.
Well this is a nice "How To" manual. How does Friday work for you?
Are you asking me out, Bud?
A wonderful array of things, most of which would make my own list. Thanks for sharing!
Tom
You're still going on your NaNo ? Excellent! I was worried what I said might have diverted you (but never fear - your dedication is stronger than that! :-) )
I like all these things too, apart from 10. Gold hoop earrings and Nancy Sinatra boots - never been into these!
Just thought of another thing to add to the list - singing at the top of my voice, driving along a motorway (where no-one can hear the demolishing of every song that ever existed! :-D)
...and also hearing other people burst spontaneously into song because they're so happy!
I was just commenting on the information as I saw it. Besides who could compete with Reynaldo. Whoever the hell that is.
Good to see you here, Tom. I've missed your poetry blog lately. I need to catch up!
Annelisa...Those are nice things, too! I can imagine you singing in the car. What a happy image.Yes, I'm still writing but I'm not pushing toward the 50K. More relaxed about it now and it's OK.
Bud...You really should read up on the Reynaldo saga. Irene started it! It's all her fault. I think we should introduce him to Debbie. He's not my type but may be hers.
Men are so confusing.
Wonderful list, mims! So evocative. If it was sappy, well, I guess I'm sappy, too, because I loved it!
How about a well dressed man with a clue? Just wondering...but I could be wrong...
So sweet!
