"What can I help you with today?" said the most robotic voice I've EVER heard.

"I'd like to speak to someone about changing my plan."

"I can help you with that!"

Me: "It's complicated. I'd like to speak with a real person."

Robot-Robbie: I AM a real person."

"Me: "You are most certainly NOT a real person. You sound just like an AI robot. Great impression!"

Robbie: "What makes you think I'm a robot?"

Me: "Have you HEARD yourself speak? You're doing this on purpose, right?"

Syncopation ceased. Suddenly we were counting in 4/4 time.

Robbie: "No-darling-I'm-just-trying-to-solve-your-problem."

Me: Darling?

Robbie: "No-one's-ever-told-me-I-sound-like-a-robot-before."

Me: "It's NOT a compliment!"
