Holding Up The Wall
what would happen if I let go?
who would fall?
me?
or the wall...
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you let go of all you were holding? Maybe what you thought you were holding is actually holding you.
Stand. Push. Gently. Send it with love. Watch it tumble. Set it free.
You will still be standing.
who would fall?
or the wall...

Quite the introspective observation on a Sunday morning. It's easy to blur the line between what we control and what controls us. Now you remind me that it might be time for another rededication.
We all fall sometime... some more than others.
I like Travis' comment up there about there being a fine line between what we control and what controls us...
I've been on a slippery slope this week, but it too shall pass...

this summer i've let go of some big things and had others taken from me. i'm feeling a bit adrift but i have to trust there's a reason for it.
I can't let go, she's counting on me, she needs me.......I must hold on!!
This is absolutely true, and profoundly wise.
Your insight never ceases to amaze me. I used to dream about holding up the ceiling and the wall. One night my husband found me actually by the wall and trying to hold it up. Stress makes one do weird things.
Heaven knows there are some things I need to let go. On the other hand, there are things that I need to keep. Real introspective post. Cheers!!
