Sleeping Terms. WhatEVER!
I shall play my own meme. I feel like saying whatever pops off the top of my head. You have been warned.
Trends can be enlightening or they can be annoying. Most of these are the latter. I looked in the infamous Urban Dictionary to find the newest lame terms in the blogosphere and world in general. Here's what I discovered.I hope these don't eventually end up in Webster's one day. Of course, I'm soooo glad the word "blogging" finally did!
The New Word meme
1. What is planking?
Planking is that horrible feeling you get the moment you're called to the Principal's office ...That's me on the stool. In 1850.
2. What does the word "smosh" mean to you?
Smosh is what happens when I smooch my grandson's little face and he leans into me and just stays there. I have already taught him the one-eyed blog pose.
3. What is daddy soda?
When I was a little girl it meant orange soda. We would go to McDonald's (rarely) and daddy would order orange soda for all of us every time every time every time. It made me so mad because I wanted REEAAAALLL soda. Now I think I get it. Finally. He didn't want all his little children stoked on caffeine all night long! Smart Dad.
4. Do you know any Facebook philosophers?
Yes. He has his own page and everything.
5. Do you ever call people "dude" or "bro?"
Nor "Yo!"
6. Have you ever had post traumatic test syndrome?
Every time I write a post it's traumatic.
Every time I write a post it's traumatic.
7. What are sleeping terms?
It's that stupid legal form that soon-to-be ex-boyfriends make you sign just before they pay the tab on your last date. Not that I would know anything about that.

Traumatic Post Syndrome. I should let the American Psychological association know about that one.
Sleeping terms? That really is new to me. I think I shall have some fun with that idea. Do soon-to-ex girlfriends have them too?
Is it a bit like a list with all the wrong things on it, maybe? Dimensions, stamina, RPM, etc? :)
Shoes - Perhaps I'm just in the mood to be silly.
Charles - It might be a good idea.
Mark - Yes, we have them too. It's best not to sign any legal form regarding beds. That's my policy.
You and the lists. Sigh.
Men have longer lists than women. We patterned our lists after theirs...lol
Mimi... nothing wrong with being silly...
