Snow Peas and Leprechauns

The Queen's Meme #113
The After St. Patty's Day Meme (aka The Green Meme

All things considered after a very pleasant weekend in the castle, I thought I'd ask you about your St. Patrick's Day festivities. I missed them almost entirely! Did green rock your world? Did you drink green beer? Of course, these logical questions will not be in this meme. That would be boring. This meme is totally frivolous and ridiculous. A hodgepodge of nothing serious.
That's why I like it.

1. How many green things are within your reach?
Green bowl full of apples. Green pillow I am sitting on. Two

2. Have you ever been green with envy?
Approaching serious answer: In order to be truly envious one has to believe that they themselves are lacking what the other person possesses. And some people will go to extreme lengths to own and possess  those people and things that fill the perceived lack.  You'd have to have serious self-esteem issues to enjoy that for one second.

No man, no woman, no circumstance, no situation, no worldly material possession has the power to make me doubt myself. Another person's gain cannot become my loss. That is backwards thinking.

3. Do you like split pea soup?
I prefer whole peas in my soup or no peas in my soup. Just not snow peas. I like them on my salad. Did you get that, Bloggy People?

4. Have you gone green?
Every time I think I'm making progress somebody adds something else to the must-go-green list. I will never catch up!

5. Do green Leprechauns scare you?
Not as much as lying politicians.

 6.  What color was the Wicked Witch of The West's face in the Wizard of Oz?
It was actually light-skinned Caucasian under the green goop and pointy hat. Look it up.

 7. Tell us about your last experience with a frog...or a toad...or a prince. You pick.
If I tell you all my kissin' frogs stories we'll be here all night.  It's a gift.

yeah, sometimes it's best we keep the frog kissing stories to ourselves, eh?

As a green-eyed woman of Irish descent, I love the holiday - even if I am late coming to your post, SheWrites sister. Nice to e-meet you, and am looking forward to blogging for peace in November.

Love the apples, can and will pass on peas, permanently.

I liked the reason they gave for the greenness of the Witch in Wicked, the stage show.

Welcome one and all to the Queen's Meme and my silly bone. It's soooo good to exercise it once in a while.

No, Travis, the apples were not green, not did they have worms.
Beverly - a new peace blogger! Yay!
Lime - some frog kissin' is better left dead and unsaid (not necessarily in that order)

Jamie - LOL LOL

Teresa - It was!
