Red Hearts and Friendship
From Debbie at Through Thick 'n Thin in the great state of Massachusetts. Thank you very much. If you don't read Debbie you really should. She writes an open and honest blog about her daily struggles with kids and everyday life. I admire her honesty and courage. Congratulations to her other recipients as well:
I know a lot of bloggers who write from their hearts and share with us. They make our lives richer. I would like to pass this award on to a few specific posts that need recognition.
1. A post called Finally! by Julie at Julie's Jewels and Junque, who wrote of her journey to secure the medals earned by her late father in WWII, in a phenomenal blog post that earned her a Rising Blogger award. It really is an amazing post. Get the tissues ready.
2. Nick who writes Sometimes Sanity Nick (Nick's Bytes) for a Mother's Day Blessing. It's not what you think....
3. Lizza (I Am Woman, See Me Blog!) who writes about adventures in Manila, Philippines with her teenage children, exotic places of sun and frolic, swimming with whale sharks and trying to be cool (she doesn't need to try. She really is) I loved her post called "A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now."
4. One Gals Musings for A Special Lunch for Mommy and Me. I loved this re-telling of a conversation and how much they learned about each other. This Mother's Day was special for both of them. Some gifts are simply unspoken.
And thank you again Debbie for the Blogger Friendship Award as well.
I know I'm supposed to follow the rules but I can't this time. There are so many of you that I consider friends. I can't name just a few. Please take this - and a hug from me - with you! Spread the vibe and tag as many as you wish. Blogging friendships sometimes step off the blog too. I've met a few of you and would like to meet more. Here's to friendship! Pass it on.

Congrats :)
Can't think of anyone more deserving. Any time you want to step off the blog... I'm not that far away.
I and so many others have been such lucky recipients of the fruits of your friendship and your heart.
You and I have been sharing lots of blog love through the years...and I never get tired of it!
Thank you, Mims. Warm hugs to you, my dear friend. Love you lots.
hugs to you mimi!!
This is such a nice surprise! My blog is really nothing more than a chronicle of my life and I just try to capture whatever is going on at the moment so I can recall it well later. So I am happy that what I have written matters to others as well.
It's also important to me that this comes from Ms. Pencil Skirt herself. To get praise from someone is such a good writer herself puts me in high cotton!
Congratulations Mimi, there is no-one more deserving than you of these awards. x
That award is so cool. Congratulations and well deserved!
You do it all with class. Congrats...
Thom - Thank you, sir!
Mojo - We should go out with our blogging cameras and land on some poor unsuspecting event. We could get arrested or something. It could be fun!
Just bring bail money....
Lizza - I love you too.
Debbie- BIG HUGS right back!!
Gal - I really enjoy your writing style. I struggle with rambling vs. succinctness sometimes. I envy anyone who writes for a living, as you do. You do it well.
This blog certainly does have a heart! Congrats to you and your nominees :D
Akelamalu - Thank you but there are lots of deserving folks out there who do the same thing I do everyday and try to make a difference. Some offer frendship, some advice, some comedy, all unique and all an important part of free speech. I love blogging. You and I have been doing this little blog dance for quite a while, my friend.
I value your friendship.
Pam - Thank you and how are things in Texas today?
Bud - What a lovely thing to say. Thank you.
Dawn - Takes one to know one...
Oooooh congratulations...and a biggie huggie thank you! You have added another twisty/turny hill to my roller coaster week!
You know you a real gem in the blogosphere right?
So my word verification this time is "ovests". Should the pitch the vests in my closet? Is this a sign? Or should I keep them?
Friendship so that our lives are full of sunshine. :)
Health information & Humor & Fun World
Julie- Toss the vests dear....
Skywind - Uh huh...and so that our comment boxes are full of spam.
Thank you, Mimi! I sincerely appreciate the award.
