My Newest Infatuation
Yeah. I'm having a moment.
Pilot Speed's "Alright" playing below

Todd Clark's falsetto is amazing. How did a singer so young end up with this much raw emotional angst in his music? Pilot Speed (formerly Pilate) is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in 1999.
I love this cut.
If you listen to 2:50 you'll get the essence.
See what I mean about his voice?
I know. It's not like me to post 3 music videos in a row. I've been a little busy this week. It's 9 degrees today in the south! Yes. I said in the south. Yesterday I fought with the garden hose outside trying to unscrew it from the spout so it wouldn't freeze. It was a no go. My headlight went out. The washer won't wash still. The Christmas tree is still up. The breaker tripped in the bathroom just before an important outing and I had to dry my hair elsewhere with no mirror. Argh. I needed to take the car to the shop to check the antifreeze and my mother is calling every five minutes with this - "Are you WARM??!" "Yes, mother." "Are you SUUUUREE??" "Yes, mother." " Do you have propaaaannneee??" "Did you cheeeeckkkk??!"
"Yes, mother, I'm not twelve."
Sigh
I seriously need to warm up after all the outside shenanigans anddrink large amounts of Chardonnay after the phone messages call my mother back.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow. I need to find my snow boots before she asks.
Today I am going to "fix" things in the castle - all by myself - using my new pink drill that my son gave me for Christmas and a few other things in the toolkit I can't identify. I'll let you know if the castle is still standing after a few hours of my "fixin"......Enjoy! I hope I can hear the falsetto over the drill.

9 degrees? Gee, does that make you living in the Deep Freeze South? I woke up to 3 degrees this morning but it has since warmed up to a balmy 6 - I was thinking about going outside to do some tanning!
Good luck with the home repairs and don't blow any more fuses, that dungeon is cold and dark enough as it is!
that really sounds very good. I like that a lot.
i'd send sarge to fix your stuff but it'd be a mistake. he only has two tools, a plastic butter knife and a chain saw and he's a clutz. but he's cute...
smiles, bee

These things always happen in bunches and always at the most inconvenient times. It's Murphy's law #26 (or #1 in my house).
Good luck staying warm. Make sure you have propaaaannnneee.
Linda - My pencil skirt is stuck to my prissy behind. It's not pretty.
Charles - I really like them a lot.
Bee - That's just what I need around here - a cute clutz! That was funny. ha!
Linda - Fuses? There are fuses? Where?
Songbird - Checking the propaaannnee......
Good luck with the drill.
Jean-luc - How do I protect my nails from biting the dust?
Great tune. I am a bit afraid of you and the drill. Will the drill take out the Christmas Tree?
Queen Mimi with a drill?? Are the emergency personnel on stand-by? Is the rescue crew fairly close to Bloggingham? It's not that I don't trust you, Your Highness, but...well, you know what I'm saying. Just a nervous loyal subject thinking about his Queen's safety.
So I'm sitting here eating a couple Dove Chocolates..the "promise" is this: Add a little sweetness to your day.
I do that by coming here.
Thanks Mimi!
It's 4 degrees here at the moment Brrrrrr.
Is your drilling better than your cooking? LOL
I'm surprised none of the guys made a joke about "drilling"... I guess your readers are all grown up now!
