Sunday Stealing with Judd Corizan ~ The Aging Meme
Sunday Stealing: The Aging Meme All you have to do is either finish the sentence or fill in the blanks...
At a certain age women should:
Learn to love themselves
At a certain age men should:
Do the same
When I was a kid I thought I would:
Play in a rock 'n roll band and marry Paul McCartney
Now that I am older I wish:
I had married Paul McCartney
You know you are too old to party when:
I can't imagine being too old to party. I'm such a party animal you know...
You know you are too young to retire when: The interest on your student loan is higher than the interest on your mortgage.
When I was in high school I listened to the music of: Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter, The Beatles, The Eagles, John Denver, James Taylor, Chicago, Peter Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan and others.
Jackson Browne's "Sky Blue and Black" is one of my favorites...Please listen. It will soothe your Monday morning blues."If you ever need holding, call my name and I'll be there..No holding back. I'll see you through. Sky Blue and Black."This song takes me back to every love I ever knew and every love I will know.

Nowadays I find I like the music of: Michael Buble, Leona Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Eva Cassidy, The Beatles, Sarah McLachlan, Rod Stewart, Mahler, Bruce Springsteen, Nickelback, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Jackson Browne, etc etc (Impossible question for a music major)
On my last birthday I: was alone turning 35 (It's my party and I can be whatever age I choose)
On my next birthday I want to: share the joys of turning 35 with someone special
The best birthday present I ever got was: a piano
The first time I felt grown up was: When I drove a car
The last time I felt like a kid was: Last week when Baby Boy wanted to play cars in the living room floor. He said we drove to California and we didn't need to talk because the cars did all the talking. We only stopped for gas once!
I like his world.
When I read Night by Elie Wiesel it changed my life.
Last year was:
A roller coaster
Next year I hope:
I can drive to California on one tank of gas. Viva la-Election Day!
You may steal this meme at Sunday Stealing headquarters. Back soon with Monday Mimisms.......which won't be quite as silly. I promise.

Did he use the car horn? Great job! THe student loan line was great...
Crushed - How's that Rhianna thing going for ya?
Bud - Ha!I told you this story once...as you'll recall he used the car horn when I ran into the huge pine tree and squished my foot on the brake underneath his. Ouch. I can still feel that foot.
Car horn or no, the words were always the same.
Unbloggable.
I wish I knew the trick to learning to liking yourself.
I like the idea of California on one tank of gas.
Queen-size - What's not to like about you? Seriously!
Charles - It's true in Baby Boy's fantasy world....so there ya have it.
Well had you married Paul McCartney even if it didn't work out we now all know you would be 46 million dollars richer and for that reason alone I would be your best friend. LOL good answers what is this blog blast?
You do these so well. So you wanted to marry Paul huh? We all had our loves didn't we? Love the song. Glad it holds such great memories for you. Being 35 rocks by the way. Bwahahahahaha. Have a great day. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
I agree... Night by Elie Wiesel is a life changing book.
I like Baby Boy's world too... just imagine the gas I would save!
Thanks for the smiles. Mondays are tough & your unique perspectives make me feel less isolated in mine. I think I wanna do this one.
Love your answers. And the video is fabulous. I used to want to marry Jackson Browne...he's swoon worthy.
I was making a "Statement" when I was a teenager and young adult, so I didn't learn to drive until my job forced me to, when I was 21. So my dad escaped a heart attack and my brother-in-law got to teach me. :D
Hey! I was going to marry Paul McCartney! Oh well, he certainly would have done better with either of us than he did with Heather Mills.
That Weisel book is a favorite of my best friend's. It now has two endorsements. What am I waiting for?
You visited my post and wondered what was bad about sharing my birthday with the Thanksgiving turkey. Well ... it was my 50th. All of my friends were busy that weekend with their families. While everyone was very nice and very generous and very thoughtful when we eventually celebrated, it was still depressing to spend such a big day without my running buddies. (My family was nice, my niece and nephew fussed over me, but it wasn't the same.)
am - Yes, I would be 46 million dollars richer. Did you have to depress me???!
I'll be over soon to explain about BlogBlast.
Sandee - Yes, I liked his haircut. Weird the things we admired, huh? Hugs back to you my friend.
Dawn - Reading Wiesel was the first time I knew that evil like that existed in the world. It was sobering. I now teach it whenever I get the chance.
And yes, Baby Boy is wise....
Autumn - It's a good one. Feel free to steal what was stolen.
Kwizgiver - He is very cute. Yes. I agree. And the voice is smooth and soothing.
Mel - Very funny!
Gal - I Feel.Your.Pain.
I was alone on Thanksgiving this year too. When you're single, holidays and birthdays are noooo fun. But this too shall pass....
Super answers, Mimi. I'll be 50 in January...a big occasion.
I really like the Sunday Stealing thing, it helps us to get to know each other so much better. I loved your student loan answer!
