Ruby Tuesday

Bloggingham blooms by the potting shed

Wanna play?

Mary at Work Of The Poet started this royally fine meme some time ago. According to Mary, here are the rules:

"On Tuesdays you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED.
I will post a NEW Ruby Tuesday each Tuesday.Your photo can contain lots of RED or a little bit of RED"

When you've posted your Ruby Tuesday posts go back to Work Of The Poet and enter your name in Mr. Linky."

Memes are great for discovering new blogs in the sphere and making friends. Thanks Mary. This is a good one!

Woooo ... pretty!

I keep seeing this meme around and it looks like a lot of people are really enjoying it. Perhaps one of these days I'll join in but for now I just like looking at all the pretty red things!

Such a pretty red. I just want to reach out and pick them and put them in a vase on my desk. I agree with careltta about the wood. I love weathered wood.

Here's another vote of appreciation for the weathered wood behind the flowers. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Nice red flowers at Bloggingham! These add necessary color to the normal gray castle walls.

Is there any splash of color like this in the dungeon?

Cinnamon Girl said...

Ok that is it, I miss my roses. Next spring I am pulling out the ugly Oregon Grape and planting a Rose bush. HOA be damned!

You are not missing much, Mimi. And HOA is home owners association. We live in a townhouse condo/community. They pretty much let us plant what we want though.

Chaviva Gordon-Bennett said...

Beautiful blooms! :)

Mimi Lenox said...

Starr- I will wait for your blooms then...get to plantin' girl and save a pic of the Oregon grape for me. I've never seen one.

Chaviva - Welcome and thank you! I like your site.

Mimi, I haven't applied for coding for Ruby Tuesday from Mr. Linky. I just get a general code from Mr. Linky which I use for the day. But maybe I should apply for a special Ruby Tuesday code. Thanks for reminding me Mimi..

Jean-Luc -Thank you! It matches your spacesuit.

ilanadavita - Welcome to the castle and thank you.

Mimi Lenox said...

Mary - I only asked because I saw it on Desert Songbird's site and a couple of others today. I just thought I was not doing something right. Your meme is really growing!

Dear Mimi Lenox,
I love roses. somehow my love is not returned.
The only ones growing in my garden are wild ones.
Guess I am a little untamed myself too.
Your red roses were just the right color and size. bet they have an odeur as well?

Fabulous flowers. Love the rustic wooden trellis, too.

Mimi Lenox said...

Felisol - These are smaller blooms and look a little "old-fashioned"....certainly not American Beauty roses...but I love them for their uniqueness in color. The red has a coral mix that is nice. Thanks for visiting!

Mimi Lenox said...

Amber - Thanks for visiting. Yes, there is a trellis leaning on the shed and when they were at their best the roses were lovely against the building. There were many of them. Glad you enjoyed!

Mimi Lenox said...

Geraldine - Nice to make your cyber-acquaintance. I'm glad you like my space. You are welcome anytime!

quilly - Thank you! Nice to see you!

Cheerio my new bloggy friend.

Mimi Lenox said...

Anndi - Stop and smell the roses...

Chuck - You do deserve a nice tasty beverage...maybe a piping hot cup of green tea while you catch up...or something stronger. You are welcome for the well-deserved recommendation.

Your comments always crack me up totally. I'm the woman of the weekend? Yippee! That must be a really good sign....

Hey Mimi, I got here as fast as I could! With a few detours, like the pig-guy and the peace-globe.
Are those flowers red? They are very pretty, Mrs. Jim could tell me what they are because there is now such thing as 'blogginham blooms,' I think they came from North Carolina.
Thanks for your visit to my red phone booth yesterday, I am in the process of catching up.
I have a WW also on my other blog, I told you about that below.
