Sunday Blog Chatter: Super Bowl 42 Comes To Bloggingham
Today we shall step out of our comfort zone. We bring you a special sports feature like none other. I'm so excited.
The much anticipated and scandalized commercialized bankrolled unadulterated sports event in the history of the game.
It is now 4:25 pm on the East Coast and I have yet to see any action.....er....so to speak.
I've fluffed. I've puffed. I've put on my best lipstick and rouge, watched Paul Abdul gyrate all over Ryan Seacrest and still there is no game. I've been watching for hours. The New England Giants and The New York Patriots have yet to appear.
It has been brought to my attention that this is a National Holiday. Bigger than Christmas, bigger than Martin Luther King Day, bigger than Flag Day, bigger than Thanksgiving, bigger than (gulp) Peace Globe Day.
I'll admit, I am woefully unprepared. There is no tree. There are no decorations. No Jesus. No turkey. And no Easter Bunny. No presents??!
I have no idea what to wear.
I'll be back in a bit for your up-to-the-mimi report on this historical event in Bloggingham Castle. I am breathlessly perched in front of my television with a bag of cheetos and yellow curlers. (Not cheesy curls, real curlers!)
I think I have a few things to figure out.
I'm on it.

You are so silly!
So, did you enjoy the game?
I fell asleep soon after Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performed
Hello dear Mimi,
We are looking forward to your coverage of the event.
I'am not a sports fan, but I hope that everyone's was a fun one...
That even ran the Superboal here on a French channel around 12:30 a.m ( time difference).Too late for me, hunks or not ;)
See you around.
You like football Mimi???????
Don't wear a baseball cap to watch it whatever you do, it won't go with your crown. :)
I copied your appeal for Jamie for my blog.
I'm so grateful I wasn't subjected to that game. I wonder if it was because Poor Hubby thought it was as boring as I did, or if he was just being nice...
I enjoyed the commercials LOL
Mimi you have a very, very special award waiting for you over at www.mistysmusings.com - I think you'll really like it!
Ummm did you ever figure it out?
heheheheheh
Mimi, what are your views on cheese?
Well, I must admit coming from Norway, I don't know much about this sport. My wife is an American though, and once visiting the family over there, I saw a match in Albany and it was fun :-)
Wishing you a great week!
goofy girl in a pencil skirt!
Travis - Silly is my middle name.
Patti - Enjoy is such a subjective word.
Barbara - There were hunks, dear. Yep. Definitely hunks.
I remember that part.
And Tom Petty was great!
Akelamalu - I did wear my cap. Under my crown.
Bundle - It really wasn't that boring. I learned a lot.
Or not.
Misty Dawn- The commercials were a little strange this year I thought. Thanks. I'll be over to see what awaits me at your place.
Appreciate it.
Bond - There aren't enough cheetos in the world to help me figure out that game.
Patti - LOL
rennyBa - It's definitely an American event.
Katherine - Goofy is my middle name.
You are amazing! I can't stand sports either! I attended my SB party for the food and friendship.
Hello Sally, you did enjoy yourself?? I find it's not the event ... it's the snacks that surround them.
ps... sorry, I could not help that one. I may be dungeonitized for some time. ON the other hand, maybe not :)
Vote???
Well sugar you missed my silly fest!!
