We are a global peace community in the throes of a global pandemic!
This is going to be the deepest dive into finding peace that this movement has ever seen.
This year's theme is Peace in the Time of Quarantine
Whatever your beliefs, background, culture, race, politics or persuasion, YOU are invited to join us for BlogBlaST For Peace on November 4, 2020.
Blog4Peace participants come from every continent and 214 countries/territories. For fifteen years we've been raising our voices for the cause of peace across the world. We have been speaking "Dona nobis Pacem" (Grant us peace) together on the same day all across the globe. It's awesome and inspiring.
Why? Today, humanity is upside down. Social unrest and political turmoil are not new challenges; but when you add a lethal contagious virus, mandatory lockdowns, one million people dead and 28 million cases causing enormous economic uncertainty and fear, we shouldn't be surprised to see people struggling to find balance and calmness. That's precisely WHY we must continue to be powerful voices of rest and substance. Your words give life to the world.
When the world stopped we were locked down and restricted physically, but this did not chain our souls or our voices.
Unity is in short supply these days. This is something we can all agree on.
