Monday Mimisms ~ Breakfast Blogging with The Queen
Oh, how far I've fallen. I'm blogging my breakfast.
But truly, I'm in a jam here.
No matter how I slice it or how much All Natural unsweetened blueberry jelly I put on it, whole wheat bagels still taste like cardboard to me even slathered with the unmentionable buttery stuff you see here.
Why does healthy have to equal bland?
If good things are bad for me, does this mean bad things are good for me? If so, I'm changing up my dating strategy. There's a bad boy somewhere just waiting to be slathered with butter. But I digress.
I read the other day that some of my favorite "health" foods are bad for me.
Strawberries (because of the pesticides)
Kale (because of the pesticides)
non-organic apples (pesticides) even if you peel them Who wants to do that??! I just want to bite into my apple without worrying about dying from health food.
salmon (mercury)
and
my favorite
blueberries and blackberries (pesticides)
I'm going back to my Cheetos morning noon and night diet.
That is all.
I'm hungry.

eat organic.
Mario's mom here - seems everything you put in your mouth is bad for you these days. Can't win.
A little of what you fancy does you good!
oh we got to go some day just enjoy the food, and worry about the rest when we are gone!xx Rachel
The thing I know...none of us is getting out of here alive. So if I want the occasional cheeseburger, I'm having it.
The other thing I know...the things that "they" say are healthy and good for us are constantly changing. So don't get so caught up in it.
You don't have to eat a wheat bagel to be healthy. Eat the bagel that tastes good to you...then you automatically minimize how much extra butter or cream cheese you put on it, because you already like the taste of the bagel.
