Monday Mimisms ~ Hurricanes and Soldiers
Even in the eye of storms and hurricanes, peace can be found.
The wonders and travails of nature have a powerful awesome presence in our psyche and require us to reach for the deepest most selfless acts of compassion and kindness.
The Nation's Capitol and the East Coast may be shut down, but this soldier must still stand in Arlington at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. No matter the weather, the sentinel will always have this monument within his line of sight.
I am thankful for such selfless service.

Isn't it interesting how disaster brings our attention to things we should be aware of daily?
I know you are further inland, but you take care and be safe anyway.
Wow, that is wonderful to know - those soldiers are companioned through all the hours, even in storm.
