I'm Greatly Afeared For The Birds ~ Aren't You?
It's January. I've seen sixty degree temperatures, rain, more spring weather, a little fog and a lot of confused weathermen. Where is the snow? Where is winter? What happened to the birds that flew south? Has anyone checked on them?
They must be in a terrible tizzy by now. Will they ever return? I'm afraid they'll turn into cuckoo birds with all this confusion.
Last year I took these shots outside in the ice and snow. And even though I don't like the headaches and danger icy roads bring, it would be nice to see a flake or two.
Don't say it. Just don't say it.
Peace

We finally got snow here in Wisconsin. The geese that are still in the area are very confused I think.
- I agree. Poor things.
Gorgeous winter shots, Mimi! I especially like the icicled leaves.
I hope the birds make their appearance soon so you'll stop worrying about them.
Lizza - Thank you so much. With this weather they may never return to Bloggingham. I kinda miss them.
Lovely to see you, mon ami.
Great pictures! Yes, I am worried about our birds too - we hadn't been feeding them here b/c we had no snow until this weekend. Have to go buy some bird seed pronto.
Beautiful photos. I feel sorry for the green sprouts trapped in the ice. We have snow and ice here. Brrrrr. Great for staying indoors, and looking out.
Mauigirl - Snow is scarce in these parts and the birds are confused.
Sherry - Glad you enjoyed the photos. It is getting chillier tonight. I'll come over to your blog and see if you have any photos.
The few days of snow we had last week were about all I want for this season. I guess I just don't have any patience for it right now. Too busy.
Travis - It may snow here on Tuesday. Looks like we're going to pay for those 60 degree days of winter.
