Have You Ever Flown In A Car?
Thank you for all the prayers and love I've already received on my Facebook page and through email.
I need time for bruises - inside and out - to heal.
I need time to process what happened and write about it....just not in an upright position!
The doctor said to watch for "any strange behavior" after a head trauma. I told him they'd better watch for normal behavior. THAT would be out of the ordinary.
See you soon. Back to bed.
P.S. Homer is being nice to me for a change.

Having flown twice in a car, I am quite happy that you survived the landing with humor, intact. Glad you have folks close to look after you and that Homer is being nice. Take care and your own good advice - grin.
OMG!!! I don't even want to know!!! Obviously, you had a safe landing...
Heal and take care...

I knew! Homer truly is a sensitive soul who responds to need! Take solace in his comfort, and in knowing that all your loyal subjects are thinking of you.
To help speed your recovery, I have nominated you for a Versitile Blogger Award. Come over to my place to pick up your plaque...
OMG I had no idea! Reiki is winging it's way to you as I type my friend. I'm praying you make a quick and full recovery. xxxx
What did the doctor say when you told him you saw thousands of big blue globes swirling around your head?
GENTLE HUGS AND THOUGHTFUL PRAYERS
Ouch! I'm glad you are recuperating. Cars are dangerous. I should try to avoid them in the future.
Hope you feel totally better soon.
Oh...Mimi. I am so sorry that you tried to fly in your car. I hope no one else was in the car particularly your little grandson.
I am keeping you in my prayers. I hope you will be good as new in no time at all.
I agree with what Jamie said about all of those blue globes floating around. Take good of yourself.
Sorry to read this, Mimi! I hope you're alright!
XoXo
(Big kisses, and small little hugs to not hurt your bruised body!)
Just checking to make sure Homer is taking good care of you ;)
Feel better soon!
Oh dear. I hope that you recover quickly. Sending prayers for you (and Homer!) ;)
PICTURES!!!! you promised!
To recover soon, do follow the whims and medical advice! Take care of this head, it's powerful! Improved!
poor Mimi!
What a horrid experience! :-( Some flying really is not fun. Get well, rest and heal. xx
Hubby and I once zoomed past a field of cows sideways. (black ice + farm road = SLIPPEEE) All I remember is this row of utterly (udderly?) mesmerised cow faces staring at us, jaws open in wonder and grass forgotten, as we went by them with probably equally glazed eyes and shocked expressions.
The van had a few grassy scratches outside, but inside I had punched (how??? No memory!) the centre air vent out and was hanging on to the edge to balance myself (I really did think we were going to flip). I had a lovely bruised palm, but otherwise was fine.
We drove home, fine. Checked the van - fine. Got indoors... and went to feeble drooling jelly as the shock finally kicked in. It took longer to get over feeling shaken and stirred than it did for the bruise to fade.
The air vent never went back straight, but hubby was too impressed by my Superwoman strength to care.
I still wonder how often the cows got together to chat about the day the van of hoomuns zoomed past them sideways...
