I am not sure why, but I prefer sunsets to sunrises... the light seems different, but other than direction, it really shouldn't be...
I want to spend an entire day at Monument Valley so I can watch the day... sunrise through sunset... I understand the changing colors of the mesas and canyons are unbelievable...

I'm glad I have these photos to remind me of my time there. I'm already working on getting back soon. The salt air and water did wonderful things for my body, soul and spirit.

I wish I was able to actually get up early enough in the morning to take pictures at sunrise - or at least be someplace where I wanted to get up early in the morning to take pictures of the sun rise!

I'm not a morning person either but that was definitely worth getting up for.
