Someone Is Following Me

I stopped.
I looked.
I pondered the state of the vegetables and the room in my empty cart.
Collards anyone? How about some nice cabbage and string beans?
They stared back but did not jump in my cart. Hmmm.....
Click your heels together 3x and repeat after me,
"My body needs this. My body needs this. My body neeeeeds this."

So I balanced out my four food groups with a nice bag of orange fruit. I checked the food pyramid and confirmed the fiber content and everything!
What a Wise decision.

The lady following me was most happy with my choice.

.....once I told her I'd share.

if I ate that sort of thing I might have to have a doctor following me around to pump my stomach.

Charles - You don't like Cheetos?

Mimi Lenox said...

Svem - I have that pasted on the refrigerator.

Couldn't Cheetos count as a dairy product also since they are cheese flavored? Just sayin.

You ate the whole bag in two days?
They must have been mor-ish.
The more you eat the more you want ;)

Vegetables are not only good for you, they taste good too! Give me a plate of sauteed zucchini any day over chocolate cake. Never mind that I can't east sugar anyway.

Great choices, Your Highness!

Wise choice. I'm sure it's nearly impossible to burn Cheese Doodles
:)

Mimi Lenox said...

Xmichra - She really enjoyed the Cheetos too.

Mimi Lenox said...

Gary - And I wonder why I have a tummy ache?

Mimi Lenox said...

Mejis - Brilliant! I always thought so..

Mimi Lenox said...

Dawn - Once I start with a bag of Cheetos I can't stop.
I can't!!

It is so not on my diet.

Mimi Lenox said...

Lee - Ummm....now that sounds good. The chocolate cake I mean. I might have to go find some today.
Thanks for the tip!

Jeff - Very funny WISE guy! Ha ha ha

Mimi, This reminds me of my nephew. In kindergarten his homework was to make a food pyramid.
He made barbecued ribs the bottom layer and chocolate mud pie the second. After that? Nobody remembers anymore, except his kindergarten teacher had no sense of humor. Somehow he managed to get into college, mud pie and all.

Kathleen - I hope for the love of all humanity that he became a Pediatrician.

No sense of humor, huh? That is truly a shame 'cause that was very funny!

I just want to know the name of that grocery store because the produce looks amazing?

So that's your secret to staying trim and thin? I am saying cheetos are good for me? Cheestos are good for me?

Brrrr...It's cold and damp down here!

Mimi Lenox said...

Pam - It is Foodlion. And they do have awesome produce. They're a bit tired of my camera....but the produce knows me by name.

Sometimes I get sprayed by the automatic veggie washers.
Never a dull moment.

Mimi Lenox said...

Pam - I'm telling ya they're just full of air and a lot of fake cheese. A girl could live a long time in a pencil skirt like that.

Mimi Lenox said...

Jeff - Haven't you finished mopping that floor yet? And tell Homer to dial for pizza delivery.
I am NOT cooking tonight.

Unless you wanna die.

Rutabaga?

Cheetos as a food group? Who knew?

What is a collard, Mimi?

Mimi Lenox said...

Mojo - It's a given.

Mimi Lenox said...

Cogitator - Collards are big leafy greens that are very high in vitamin D and good for you.
Messy to cook (you need a big pot) but delicious with vinegar and spices. My grandmother used to cook them with something we called "fatback" to give them flavor.
Also great with bacon mixed in. Course now we're talking cholesterol meddling......

My body tells me similar things. But my brains yells, "I want a pizza!"
