The Queen's Meme #17 ~ The Ex Files
1. When is the last time someone did something EXtra-special for you?
Homer painted my toenails.
2. Name one EXciting thing that happens in your life daily.
Any day your feet hit the floor, it's a good day.
3. Tell us the good, the bad and the uglies of your online EXperiences.
All good: Peace Globes
All bad: Stalkers, Hackers and Spammers. Oh my. Uglies: Facebook Wars are taking over the free world. Just sayin'....
4. What makes an ordinary day EXtraordinary and EXceptional?
No Stalkers, Hackers or Spammers
And peace on Planet Facebook
5. Name one embarrassing incident you had to
EXplain to your mother when you were a child.
True story. I was six. First grade. I wore a red and black checked dress, white leggings and black patent leather shoes. I wasn't wearing my pencil skirt and the nitwit beside me wore the stupidest pink bonnet I'd ever seen. (I know. Don't say it. ) It was nap time. I wasn't sleepy. I wanted to sing. Shhhhh! Nope. Just had to sing. The teacher paddled me. (Stop laughing). The embarrassing part? She took me to the corner of the room, lifted my dress tail and Smack (!!) with a wooden paddle. Smack. Smack. Smack. Three times.
My pride hurt worse than the smack.
OK. Now you can say it.
Oh. And my mother was not amused.
6. If you could FedEX yourself anywhere in the world,
7. Who would you like to EXray and why?

LOL! Will be doing this one =)
Starr - I can hardly wait. This should be good.
You are going to tell the Girl Scout story, yes??
Yes!
Oh yeah =)
OMIGOSH taht was sooooo unfair.
Amen to 3 and 4!!! As for the paddling.....I'd demand a retrial too. Some people!
Hey, I thought the red dress was hawt. Never thought of it as "your color", but what do I know? You can pull off any color really.
Maybe that came out wrong.
Shutting up now.
She should have paddled the girl in the pink bonnet just for forms sake.
I'm just sayin'...
A spanking for singing? What is the world coming too.
I want a retrial as well. I can tell you, things would be a lot different!
So here you were in the first grade and you want to sing, but the teacher wants our little Queen to sleep. What was she thinking?
I am so glad that you did not let her stop the music for you.
I had a similar experience in Math.
Facebook Wars? I know nothing of those! Are they escalating, like Afghanistan? Or secretive, like Pakistan?
PS I fear Tiger might get off spankings.
I think you deserve a retrial.
Can I borrow Homer? I need my toenails done ;)
You can just Fedex him to me.
Well, that sort of thing would never ever happen these days, that's for sure! That teacher would have been fired, sued, and vilified for the rest of her natural days were she to try to pull that stunt in this day and age. Besides, you only wanted to sing - what's so bad about that? I bet you had a great voice!
As for Tiger, I've heard enough about him and his antics. Which holes he wanted to sink with his wayward putter are of no interest to me! The media needs to move on and find something of value to talk about ... if there is such a thing!
Gary - It was! I will save the story of the 2nd paddling for another day. I was such a troublemaker at naptime.
Mojo - Okay...
Mie - That's what I thought too!
Charles - I forgot the part about "not following directions"...she said hush and go to sleep.
I preferred to serenade my classmates with a lullaby.
And WHAM for no reason.
I grew up and got a voice degree.
For spite.
Jean-Luc - **sticking fingers in ears** Shhhh! You are supposed to still be in the dungeon.
Oh. What's that you say?
Are you an attorney?
I could've used one that day.
I'll see what I can do about getting you out of the hell hole.
Pam - Did you want to sing your multiplication tables??!
Gal - They are both! I don't play them but a lot of my friends do and have a great time doing so. Then there's Farmville and Cafe and all kinds of things. Yes, virtual worlds in a parallel universe.
Fascinating really.
Ha ha! That was funny!
Gal - I am not making myself clear. That was funny about TIGER.
Sigh.
I need a little rest tonight.
Mejis - That seems to be the consensus. I'll be ready with this time with the expert legal team of Bloggers and Bloggers (I smell a post.)
Dawn - Will do!
How many winter doggie clothes should I send? Maybe I need to go shopping just for the occasion. Any ole' excuse will do ya know.
Linda - I agree. They need to move on and give his family some privacy. I feel sorry for them.
Starr - Where is this meme you speak of?
i wouldn't waste my EXray on tiger. i really don't get why the dude is in the news so much either.
*shrugs*
I like the idea of a retrial though.
Like all who challenge the fundamental laws of our society, your teacher should be placed in an iron coffin with spikes on the inside...
