If I don't find some way to p_t the letter "EWE" back on my laptop, my blog skirt is in serio_s danger and I have an online magazine article deadline Friday (thanks, Lori). It flew right off the keyboard last night d_ring American Idol mania.

Reminds me of a book I read a long time ago: Ella Minnow Pea, by Mark Dunn. One by one the letters of the alphabet fall out of the novel, and the author comes up with some clever ways to spell. Look it up on Amazon. It's a very quick, amusing read.

Mr Tucker has pulled letters off my laptop keyboard. He's got the 7 and the P. I don't know the significance, but fortunately I was able to find the letters.
This happens with the letter "a" on my laptop... it pops off the keyboard all the time, and sometimes it gets stuck and I end up typing things like Misty Daaaaaaaaaawn. My "e" is starting to suffer the same fate as the "a" now too. :-(
My Hubs tells me that I should take the hint that I spend way too much time typing on the laptop, because I've "wore it out" (according to him) after having it for only a year.
Trav - Maybe Mr. Tucker is trying to type you a message. OR he could be drafting his peace globe (hence the "p"). Either one.
Misty - We're all losing our letters and our marbles!

This reminds me of my daughter, Ginny. She sleepwalks sometimes. She's sure she got up one night, walked to her laptop, started picking off a few letters off the keyboard, and ate them! Later she rearranged the remaining letters, so that infrequently used numbers and symbols covered the frequently used letters she ate. For years, her keyboard looked like it spoke Martian, with all the letters in the wrong places! That's my Ginny! The NUT doesn't fall too far from the tree!
