Monday Mimisms: It's A Jungle In Here (Updated)
Update Tuesday night: HEY GUYS - Thanks for the vibrations and prayers. I tried to finish a new blog post today but just don't feel like it. I'm flat worn out. "Mimi In a Minute" is taking a minute longer than I expected.
But look out tomorrow....I could be funny. It could happen.
Depends on the elephants.
I miss my blog.
Thanks for the cards, the phone calls, the IMs, the emails, the blog love.
I'm propped up with pillows, a heating pad, and too much pain medication.

What I've Done In The Last Five Days
2. I slept for 13 hours straight twice. You can thank the world of muscle relaxers.3. I considered changing my occupation.
4. I ate an entire can of pineapple and one very horrible cheese toast I cooked all by myself.
5. I fooled around on Facebook.
6. I went back to bed.
7. I answered emails.
8. I went back to bed.
9. I talked to someone
10. The billboard part was because of the drugs.
11. I went back to bed.
12. I tried to work in the peace globe folder. The globes wouldn't stop spinning.
13. I listened to McLachlan's "Mirrorball" album
8 times in a row.
Homer is ready to put me out of my misery.
8 times in a row.
Homer is ready to put me out of my misery.
16. I yelled at a demon squirrel outside my windowHis tail quivered. I felt guilty for 2 seconds and screamed again.
17. I went back to bed and dreamed of bushy tailed rats.18. I took pain meds for pains I didn't know I had until I tried to stop the pain meds.
19. My ex-boyfriend called to check on me. I don't remember what I said to him. This is never good.
20. I went back to bed.
21. I commented on 2 blogs
22. And went back to bed.
23. I got Reiki healing from across the pond from my friend Akelamalu.
24. I told people I wouldn't feel sorry for myself while feeling sorry for myself. So I lied!
25. I tried to put myself back together with Paint Shop. I just look lopsided and deformed. Kinda like I feel. Both sides of the same face doth not a Queen make.
26. I got sicker looking at the hideous picture and went back to bed27. I tossed and turned trying to remember what I forgot to do for the last 5 days. . I know it was important.....
I'm going back to bed.

Two comments then took a nap?? ... I thought that's how blogging ALWAYS is ((smile))
I love the Daisy bandaid - ha haaaaaa !!!! I wonder if I can get one too?
Skywind - Are you for real?
Speedcat - You have to have a very big boo-boo first. Did you fall down or something?
I would be willing to do what it takes. Daisy Bandaids are "way cooler" than the Flinstone's variety in my own medicine cabinet.
(actually there is nothing in my medicine cabinet)
Ohhhh wait ... I have some Ibuprofin in the kitchen.
I did not want to be telling fibs over here at the castle !!!
Eric - Do you want me to write Daisy and ask her for a bandaid? I might have some pull with her. She once let me borrow her pink frilly dress.
Sleep is a very effective medicine. Or so I find it. The double sided queen is an interesting image.
Eric - I will do it. You just wait. You'll have a bandaid before you know it. But you'd better fall down before she gets there.....
Charles - I don't get nearly enough sleep. My body desperately needed the rest.
The picture makes me look like I have a runway down the middle of my forehead and webs for hands. Oh. My.
Nice Bandaid. That Daisy, she's so multitalented -- she can do anything. hope you feel better soon.
My neck hurts terribly. Do you think Daisy would make me a neckbrace?
foto - Daisy can do anything. She's a Super Wonder Cat. Just ask her. She'll tell ya.
Feel better soon.
Ouch.
Sounds like we need to get you a prescription for better pain medicine, huh?
I think you should stay in bed, surrounded by fashion magazines, with cartoons on TV, and delicious food by your side for as long as you need! I hope the bandage works real good. I will root around in my medical bag to see if I can find another one for Speedy!
Good! I agree with all you've done (as if that makes any difference).
I note that you are sleeping almost as much as Alex and I are napping.
Those pills can be entertaining. The elephant parade looks interesting. If you see my space ship whirling past from my last encounter, please send it home.
Bunny - I am getting there. Thank you.
Southern - I don't do well with any pain medicines. I'm such a lightweight.
Daisy - That sounds like a plan.
Nick - It does make a difference. Who else is here to offer me advice and counsel? Certainly not Homer.
Jamie - I think I saw it in the living room. The elephants were inside. Let me go see if they are gone now.
A little goat told me what happened to you and I have decided this is what you should do. Watch LOTS of daytime TV. You'll get all kinds of career-changing advice. You can drive a big rig, or become a website developer, or go into the hospitality industry, or become a fingertip technician, or become proficient in the art of medical billing, or buy houses at foreclosure auction and then rent them out for extra income! All you have to do is call an 800#!!! If that doesn't work, you can always watch the courtroom shows and then take the bar exam and become a lawyer.
OOPS! That's "fingerPRINT technician." Clearly that's not what I got my degree in!
Despite it all you never lost your sense of humor ;)
I love #25!
mimi! darling! you poor little thing!!!! if daisy can't fix it you are in a world of hurt there! now here is what i would say to sarge in this situation: shut up, stop blogging, and rest! but that's just sarge...
hugs, bee

Gal - That little goat gets around. I've seen Homer's sign everywhere this weekend. Bless his little goat heart. Now, enough about Bud.
What you say is true, I should be eating bonbons and watching endless television instead of tripping on elephants in the kitchen.
I'll try that today.
I'm taking notes on your advice too.
I hope Homer behaves.
READERS - I had to enable Word Verification because of some ugly spammy criminal hacking people from China who have nothing better to do.
This too shall pass. Please be patient.
Thank you.
I hope you feel better soon Mimi. I know you've had quite the weekend. I don't like that feeling either, but it's better than the pain. Just go back to bed and get better.
Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
Pain - ick. I hope your pain killers work better than mine did. Mine didn't work, and all they did was make me vomit. Yuck.
Feel better soon.
Well, glad to see you back in spite of the injuries. I know I wouldn't be able to blog on painkillers. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Even in pain and half out of it you are brilliant. Feel better!
Mimi, I hope you feel better very soon! :)
Muscle Relaxers are good like that.
OH MY my Queen...I am so glad you are coming back to the living...I told you to never try those grilled cheese sandwiches again!
I'm sure Homer has pried the fridge door open while you've been in bed with your laptop.
Oh Mimi I do hope you feel better soon honey. More Reiki winging it's way to you as I type. xxxx
Sandee - Thank goodness for my computer or I'd go insane.
Desert - They work on the pain but I'd rather be in pain than be nauseated. I've had to switch gears here and readjustment the meds.

Dawn - It's scary, isn't it?
Bee - "shut up and rest"....taking notes. Got it.
Ricardo - Blogging on pain meds could be hazardous to this blog.
And thanks.
Mark - Awww....thank you. I am getting there.
Mary - Thank you, my friend.
Meleah - I am not amused!
Vinny - I don't think I'll ever learn to do it right.
Jean-luc - But he ate all the Cheetos!
Akelamalu - Reiki received and appreciated.
It must be catching. I should really be in bed myself right now, but the Boss wouldn't let me. I've gotta go, my hands are shaking...
I'm sorry for what you're going through. It can really rock your foundation. Fortunately, you live in a castle--with a foundation that's tougher to rock.
Anyhow, feel better soon!
Must be good to be the Queen. My kingdom for a week's worth of sleep. : )
And why doth the Queen jest with Paintshop? Thouest have a bit of a Michael Jackson thing going on there. Next time, call a colonial oaf to do the job.
A loyal, lowly subject. : )
Welcome back, Mimi. Hope you're on the mend.
Autumn - I can assure you it's not catching but I'll be over to check on you. Hope you made it through the rest of the day at work!
Kwiz - Fortresses can be tough to break down and then again.....
John - Irregardless of my complaining about the drugs, the sleep was wonderful in its own curative way. I think we should declare a National Week of Sleep.
Kitten - Slowly....and I am so impatient. Thank you.
I know it's been a tough few days, but always remember that you are a Queen in a Pencil Skirt and there are capers awaiting you.
And my word verification was reppep. Now that's just silly!
Yup yup yup! When it rains it pours!
My child stole my copy of Mirrorball at age 2 and that was her lullaby cd for the next 8 years. Sarah is inhumanly talented. And gorgeous.
I took a happy pill (vicodine) today myself as this headache that has been shadowing the last freakin week. I saw no elephants and THANK THE LORD...no ex boyfriends called =)
Hope all is mending on your end. Remember my email is always open for rants =)
I have no idea what is wrong, but I hope you feel much better soon!
Travis - That is silly but then again the Castle is a silly place (unless I'm falling down and such). I think a blog post written from word verification words might be fully interesting.
Gosh. I think I just lost my creative spark! That was such a dumb idea.
Julie - But not for you. You have a cool new yellow raincoat!
Starr - McLachlan can write haunting lullabies. I never tire of them.
Vicodin??! I would seriously be on the floor. Maybe even dead. I kid you not. I hope your headache goes away soon. I'm sorry you have so many of those. And thanks for the offer to be a rant-listener.That always helps.
But really. Aren't people tired of my whining by now? Tomorrow I am ranting on my blog (at least for 60 seconds). I'll try to speak softly until you are over your headache....
Babs - Nice to see you. I am feeling better today and moving slowly. How are you?
Dont forget to feed Homer! Get well soon Lady...and share the drugs :P
Shannon - I will share my drugs if you will share your chocolate.
HEY GUYS - Thanks for the good vibrations and prayers. I tried to finish a new blog post today but just don't feel like it. I'm flat worn out. But look out tomorrow....I could be funny. It could happen.
Depends on the elephants.
Hope you're better, Mims.
Luv ya!
ah - poor Mimi.
Get well soon.
**slices a scrumpdilliumptous hunk 'o CAKE**
Thanks dear friend! Yes! The 20th anniversary of my 29th birthday!
Bwhahahhaaha!
Hmmmm ledinaph was my word verification. Sounds slightly Irish...and it was written in GREEN. St Pat's Day lasts more then one day, yes?
Ferd - I'm working on a post. My sense of humor is returning.
And I'm totally blogging the MRI. Why did they ask me if I'm claustrophobic? Do I need to take my woobie with me?
Topchamp - Thank you, my little horn-playing peace blogger.
Julie - Word verification was written in green on your birthday? Does it get any better than that?
I'm calling to sing to you in just a few....
people sent you vibrators and prayers?
cool
you'll feel better right away!
Katherine - Whew! I had to go back and check my spelling. You had me worried there for a minute.
Ha!
