Groovy Day In The Castle

This is a shot of my grandmother's pink azalea bush just outside my boudoir window. A very old flowering tree transplanted from her home.
Reminds me of her and makes me long for spring.

It's 73 degrees in Bloggingham today.
I am going out to play.

Watch your step, my Queen. Try not to fall down too much.

Beautiful flowers! You know, azalea is only an indoor plant so its nice to see it in the nature too.

Its 23 degrees in Oslo, Norway and a lot of snow, so I love to go out and play too :-)

Exquisite azalea bush!

It's presently 62F here; Alex and I have been outside most of the day. Come to think of it, the furball is still outside. I can hear him harassing the woofie doggy outside.

Dawn - Hibernation is so overrated. Stay warm!

Renny - 23?? Ouch.

Mimi Lenox said...

Nick - I hope you had fun outside on this beautiful day!

Wait....didn't you have SNOW on the ground a week ago? Strange, very strange. But interesting...

Mimi Lenox said...

Tish - This is a very old plant. I think it must be hardier than the newer sprigs because I would have killed it myself by now otherwise.

Mimi Lenox said...

Songbird - Schools were closed four days ago for snow. Today it is bikini weather.

I now have an excuse for hot and cold flashes. NOT medical.

I could not practically believe my luck that I am right now, at this present moment in time, laying my eyes on flowers that are pink! Imagine that! Thank you for keeping the world a beautiful and wonderful place!

Have enough fun for me, too! Even if I weren't stuck @ work, it's 53 degrees & windy as heck, which makes it much colder.

Azaleas? Beautiful. They are blooming here too and I love the colors.

It's wonderful to know that these lovely flowers remind you of your grandmother.
