Dear Santa......
A Christmas tree and fireplace magically appeared on my blog today. Look what Santa Claus left me! So far I have a bike, a red sweater and a guitar hero. I must have been very good this year. If you'd like to leave a silly gift, feel free to play along and leave one ......but really I'm not looking for presents for myself.
Oh heck. Maybe I am.
What would YOU like for Christmas? I'll see Santa today.
I plan to sit on his knee in avery short skirt Santa hat and ask nicely. Trust me on the "very nicely" part. Baby Boy asked for a giraffe (a real one). I'm going to need the power of the pencil skirt for this one. Just leave your list in the comment box below and I'll see what I can do (wink).
I plan to sit on his knee in a

I'll start it off. Dear Santa....(see comments)

Dear Santa,
I would like peace on earth, goodwill to men. In that order, please.
Thank you,
Mimi Pencil Skirt
hey! stop tickling me!
Dear Santa (Take 2),
I've been very VERY good this year. If we can't manage peace on earth by December 25th, then I'd like a few kisses under the mistletoe...and with all due respect...not from you.
I really hate your beard. It tickles.
Signed,
Mimi Pencil Skirt (the naughty side)
hey! I said stop!! tickling me
Santa... you know my quiet wish... Give the ho-ho a hug from me!
...and save one for yourself!
Dear Santa
I'll echo Mimi's request and please can you send me the winning numbers for the lottery. :)
Lois - The ho-ho? Okay.....interesting.....
Akelamalu - Thanks for the gift and the hilarious note you left. Ha ha ha!
Oh, Santa, in my quest to be fiscally responsible, I have sworn off purse shopping for the foreseeable future. So the only way I'm going to get a new double-handle doctor bag is from you. Please. You can pick the color. Surprise me.
I hope you like what I got you Mimi. Big hug and losta lovies. :)
May you find world peace on your vacation. Merry Christmas
I would like a six pack of good beer please.
Akelamalu - If you win the lottery, will you share? I need a new pencil skirt.
Gal - I will tell him and I promise not to send pink.
Sandee - I can't wait to see! Yippee!! Presents!
Pam - Wouldn't that be nice?
Charles - Putting in your order now. Have you been good enough for that?
Dear Santa, please share the winning lottery numbers with me too :) I need at least $200,000 (in small bills please). Also, a new watch would be nice but I will settle for world peace.
Sandee - Oh you little devil you. I think that is just what the doctor ordered.
Shannon - That was funny. Priceless.
P.S. Shannon...and thanks for the cash!
Pencil skirt! Sounds fun
Jeremy - I hope Santa thought so....
Dear Santa ... I just want Mimi to be very happy and enjoy the season.
and Santa, I would like a chicken ranch in Santiago
Eric - Very sweet. And to you the same.
I'll speak to Santa about that chicken ranch.
Eric - I love the IPhone! I didn't have one. Thank you sooo much.
Yes, it was actually what I would have picked.
Before wrapping it up I pretended it was mine for a while.
HA HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Dear Santa,
Nothing under the tree for me, please, but if you could figure out how to pull it off, I'd love to be pain free as far as my back and my legs go but barring that, how about just giving me the energy to deal with it along with the rest of my own small pack of trials and tribulations? I know that things could be so much worse but I also know that they could be so much better, too. Perhaps you could give Fate a push in the right direction for me?!?
Made you extra cookies and the eggnog has a little something extra in it to keep you warm in your sleigh - if you know what I mean!
Love,
Linda
A blue violin! That's what I want for the holidays.
This is for you! :D
Oops...forgot to address it to Santa.
Dear Santa,
I've been as good a girl this year as was physically possible. If I leave you a giant cup of soy milk, would you please leave me a blue violin?
Sincerely,
Autumn
That gift is still for you, though Mimi.
Hi Santa-
I am sorry I am late to the party. My back is not well and the doc had me lie down today.
I echoe all calls for Dona Nobis Pacem. For all of us. Bot in particular:
I want peace this year, for my daughter Jules. I think it's her turn. It is time. And I have a friend John who is a bit under the weather. May he find some peace as weill. And if you got any extra time, send some strong pain pills.
Oh. Help my friend Mimi find her Prince. Trust me, Le Palace de Bloggingham is a big place. Can you make him really rich, too? I'd love to borrow money from him. Oh, and let her know that I thought this concept for this post was awesome.
And remember that when you come down my chimney that I put a touch of Grand Marnier and Smirnoff in your cocoa. Use Rudolph as your DD.
Merry Christmas, all. ;)
Dear Santa,
I would like Peace on Earth, and peace in my house. I would just like Christmas to be calm and not stressful, which is hard with three kids and my mother involved. Try your best though.
Love,
Summer
P.S. Some nice perfume or anything Coach would be lovely as well. :)
Merry Christmas Queen Mimi
Dear Santa,
I would like a peaceful, happy and secure future for myself, Her Royal Highness the Queen of Bloggingham, and about 6.5 billion of our friends. Failing that, I'd settle for a speedier recovery for my knee, the ability to successfully pass my next rank test at the dojo, and a certain lovely woman to spend New Year's Eve with... ;-)
Yours affectionately,
Don
Eric - I thought I saw your fingerprints. Did you program it for me too? I hope so. I'm not good with technology sometimes.
Linda - I will talk to Santa about your aches and pains. You have them too much....I am sorry.
Are you feeling any better today?
Not to fear.
My magic pencil skirt will help you out. (I think I've had too much eggnog....hiccup)
Autumn - One blue violin coming right up. I'm sure there's one in Santa's bag somewhere.
Autumn - Awww....that is awesome. I will come by to see in a jiffy. Soy milk? Santa drinks soy milk?
I never knew!
Bud - How many pain pills did you take?
Dear Santa (and God),
....on behalf of Bud...Please help Julie in particular and bring her peace so that her Dad, also, can have peace. Grant his wishes as stated and help him get to a good doctor to fix him right up so that I don't have to worry about him being in pain. I do hate to tell him that I doubt my new boyfriend (?)-whenever he shows up - will allow him a loan. (He's had a tad too much Smirnoff and one too many pain pills tonight you see) but we'll see about that.
I didn't know Rudolph was a Designated Driver! Awesome!
Thank you,
Mimi
....and please, Santa, stop tickling me!
Summer - You can count on me. I'm on it!
Sarge and Bee - Merry Christmas to you!! And Happy New Year...
Don - Queen of Bloggingham is blushing again. New Year's Eve ....hmmnm......sounds intriguing.
Dear Santa,
Please heal Don's knee, help him pass his test, secure his future and make lots of money.... and dear Santa, about that request for the Queen of Bloggingham......and a New Year's date....(I just re-read that and yes, he did say that) you and I might have to have a very serious one-on-one conversation about that one. He is dangerously close to charming.
Can you pencil me in for a conference? (smile)
Signed,
Mimi Pencil Skirt
Happy Merry Mimi
I'd like everyone to have health insurance and a home they can afford.
Soy milk is all I've got!! I hope he doesn't mind... It's vanilla flavored!
Don - I seriously loved the "key"...wink. Very romantic.
Dianne - What a great wish for all. So do I.
Happy Holidays!
Autumn - I love vanilla flavor in my milk too. He'll love it.
Dear Santa,
Can you bring peace on Earth and good will to all men (and women?)
Thanking you in advance,
Princess Patti
P.S. And please bring Queen Mimi a delicious fruitcake for her to nibble on.
Oh NO! I just read your comment, Queen Mimi, and saw that you asked for the same thing. I didn't copy you, your Highness. Great minds think alike!!
Dear Santa,
Any chance you can bring an early end to this recession so that no more of my friends have to lose their jobs? Please do what you can.
Thanks,
Travis
Well, Mimi, you're welcome for the key. One could argue that, being a divorcee, it was a re-gifting, but I've had the locks changed so the key is newly-minted...
And I'm ready for that conference whenever you are, m'dear and Royal Highness...
I'm really enjoying the snowfall. But I don't have time for this cute little graphic...i have reading to do!
