Meet The Blur Family
One little, two little, three little deer.....four little....
There are more. I caught them running through Bloggingham's woods today. I was on the phone with a friend when I saw them through the kitchen window frolicking around the palace and playing tag. I rushed out to take some shots and tried to make a sneak camera attack, but one ill-timed move on my part and whoosh! ...they were off and running. I call them The Blur Family.
Maybe I should buy some moccasins.

We had a deer outside the office at work last year. As I left for the night he was walking between our building and the next.
He gave me a look and continued his slow, unconcerned, stroll.
Last time we were down at the folks' place, we watched about 7 deer frolicking about on their property. They are fun.
the numbers help, Your Majesty
I could barely see the Blurs
When I was a kid we lived on a farm out in the country. This was a beautiful and common site at dusk and dawn. How wonderful that you can see such beauty from the palace windows. Big hug. :)
Brilliant name. I'll be completely honest: it might be my poor eyesight, but I couldn't see a single deer in the 1st photo. I believe you, though!
Delmer I can see it now....
Travis - They seem so happy and content.
Patti - I swear I saw 'em!! I wasn't hallucinating from all the cleaning fumes. I promise.,
Sandee - I love my woods.
Autumn - I'll admit they were hard to see but I had to post it anyway. Next time!
I see them! I love shooting photos of deer and elk. I have a bad need to get some photos of a moose :D
**squints..then concerns self with crow's feet instead of deer**
I think you're joking!
Oh how awesome! Royal deer! Deer are my second favorite animal. I know, you're trying to figure out what my favorite is, aren't you? ;-) I know it's a tough one.
