The Dogs Show Up! I Promise To Play Nice
Now that I'm an honorary member of The Cat Blogosphere - I officially challenge The Dog Blogosphere to join Peace Globe mania. Today I received this awesome peace globe from Forest Dogs in Woof Woof Grrr Grrr Great Britain. Their names are Jazz and Sparkey.
This they told me in dogspeak:
"Woof, Mimi! We've been sitting here watching our friend Annelisa working at her Peaceglobes long enough, and seen so many cats joining the blogosphere, we decided it was time to step in and sniff out some support from canine friends in the Dogosphere! If I find any, I'll send them this way!*wagging tails* "
So they went sniffing and swagging through the forests of Great Britain to find the dogs. You can watch it here. They said they "wanted a voice." Wow. I think they're serious.
You know what this means, don't you?
I now have to learn yet another language and take a course on dogs. People, I have no pets at home. I am not a pet person. I've had bad luck with animals: possums in my bed, gerbils in a possessed birdcage, my polly parakeet sunburned to Glory and I just had a love-hate relationship with Minnie Mouse in my car. I'm skiddish.
But not about my new cat friends. I love 'em.
And not about my precious Persian Patti Cakes (see sidebar).
And not about Forest Dogs - who are the first official dog bloggers to throw down the gauntlet in the sphere and chase the cats......so to speak.
Now listen, Animal Kingdom. This is a peaceful place. Let's lay down some rules.
I'll have no hissy fits unless they're mine, no stomping through the sphere, no cat fights, no dog fights, no fights period. Not even a cross word. If you're an animal - human or canine - you should have a peace globe. I wonder if there are royal animal kingdoms? (besides Disneyland) What about the Meez animals of the world? They count too! Stuffed animals should have their say, I'd say.
But I draw the line at Mouse Blogs.
If there's a mouse blogosphere and you know about it, please, I beg you - Keep it to yourselves.

Well....maybe for Peace Globes.

Finny & Buddy - I think you're right! But they weren't en masse like the cats. I think they're getting the message now.
I'm so excited about next week I literally can't sleep.
I've just finished my peace globe now! -Wags tail- I done it while my owner fell asleep... and it turned out pretty good!
Woof! Can I have a cuddle?
Sparky! You're a genius.
Cuddles coming your way.
