Peace Blogger of The Day: Pastor Andrena
What an unusual coincidence this morning. When I decided to feature Pastor Andrena's article written last year for the Peace Globe movement as Peace Blogger of the Day, I had no idea that her post this morning would be about peace as well. Her post became one of my favorites in which she asked her young song "What does peace mean to you?" and wrote about it in her blog entitled Getting A Grip....here's how I do it. It was lovely. And inspiring.
But I found out this morning that Andrena doesn't just talk the talk.

On June 3, 2007 - just 3 days before BlogBlast for Peace in the Blogosphere - Andrena will be in Philadelphia marching in the 4th Interfaith Walk for Peace and Reconciliation. You can read about it here.

This is a good reminder. I'll try to get my Peace Globe ready and email it to you today or early this week. I'll also be foregoing humor on June 6 to write a post on peace.
You're wonderful to do this.

Thanks Bob! Can't wait to see all the globes proudly flying on June 6th. Andrena's post made me want to take to the streets of Philadelphia with her on June 3rd. Now there's an idea....
Peace to you to...
You could grab Bud and make a day of it on the 6th - and I'm sure he'd love to go shoe-shopping with you beforehand to make sure you have exactly the right pair of sneakers for the walk!
Lovely Mimi. I read everything you write and LOVED your 100 things lists (the bit about your son made me cry). I just have been frazzled to a something this week (can't think of a frazzly thing!) and my blog is still in disarray but I wanted you to know I;m here lurking.
I am going to do a promotion piece for you on my blog on May 6th and then I'll do something on the June 6th day too.
