 I choose to be a coloring book today.
Maybe tomorrow I'll splash bright, wild colors on the page.

 To know that no matter how many times in my life I may fall or mess up, there are people who love me and always will

Clean Water, Fresh Air, Healthy Food

Abundant pleasures tinged with a smidgen of guilt when I think of people all over the world who have none of those things

Prayer

 Not so much my petitions to The Almighty or what I learned to say in Sunday school.

 Seven simple little pitches scrambled into lullabies, symphonies, cantatas, rock music - all heavenly sounds that come

from the same place

Unconditional Love

The look I recall in my grandfather's eyes
The sweet, gentle, silly kiss I feel on my cheek from one very talkative three-year-old whom I've persuaded to call me "Mimi" instead of grandma (shudder shudder) - and he -without question - complies

Brown eyes

My son's His big brown eyes have grown into manhood but all I can see is a reflection of the bravest boy I know.

Fog

The mysterious and powerful experience of being lost in the moment with someone you love

Friendships

Girlfriends I know I can call in the wee hours of the morning should I need them and they would wiggle out from under the covers of their comfortable lives and come over - or just listen. They know I would do the same for them.

Trees

 I have a strange affinity for them and like to be surrounded by them. Trees are the personification of strength standing still

The newness in my life

 Peace Globes, novels unwritten, new budding friendships
