An article in The Plain Reporter on the availability of gambling, dated 9/17/06, states this surprising conclusion.
"If slots come to pass, some research suggests the region will see an increase in problem gamblers. "
Studies have shown that proximity to casinos brings higher rates of gambling addictions."
Let's all say a collective DUH.
