Happy Easter!

The traditional way of colouring Easter eggs in the Czech Republic is by boiling them together with onion skins. The patterns are achieved by attaching leaves of various plants to them before boiling and removing them afterwards.

The photograph was taken on an exhibition of Easter egg decorating in Bělkovice-Lašťany, the Czech Republic, on 1 April 2002 and released to the public domain.

Happy Easter! I will return in a few days after a bit of vacation and rest.
Hope the Easter Bunny is good to you tomorrow.

I am completely stealing this charming story about the early egg coloring and will not give you any credit whatsoever. I'm feeling my oats because I know you're gone and can't sentence me to the dungeon!
