Yep some are only know to God.
A day for thought and recollection.
It is good to see so many remembering why this day is important and not just the gateway to the summer season.
They may be unamed but we remember them.

I have to totally agree with what Jamie said. I've kind of made it my own personal mission to try to make people more aware of what Memorial Day weekend is all about these past few days but I'm judging by the lack of comments there are a lot of people not reading! Either that or they just have nothing to say.
Thank you, Mimi, for remembering the solemnity of this holiday.
It is a solemn day. I don't like to say "enjoy the holiday"....it doesn't seem right to me.
