We Interrupt This Regularly Scheduled Blog....

....with a message from Homer.
Well, ya see, it goes like this.

I found her sitting in the dark corner of the kitchen babbling on about a talking cellphone and forgetting to take her Bloggers Identification Badge to the produce aisle.
(When did it snow??!!) She ran into some trouble at the grocery store on her way home and then she ran into trouble with peace globe email codes. And then she stumped her toe.

And all I remember is her ponytail flying disappearing round the corner of the living room wall 'cause she was all in a huff and saying something about she never should have tried something new in the bran muffins department because people were laughing and she'd never show her face in this town again and now she doesn't have one minute to write Mimi-In-
A-Minute cause Blogger won't load pictures of evil politicians and something about a conspiracy and all I said was "Sleep does a body good, my Queen" in my sweet puppy voice and she yelled Shut UP!! and if I barked one word of this she'd have my head on a sushi platter.

I think there will be a blog post about it, but right now, if I don't calm her down I'll be in the doghouse for sure but before I could fetch her favorite mirror she threw me out and locked me on the front porch and she knows blasted well there's a tornado coming.

Do you see her in there anywhere?

I'm skeered
.
It's dark out here.

Can I come sleep over at your place tonight?

Oh no... you're welcome at our place anytime, Homer! I'm sure you and Jersey would have a great time.

I hope you don't mind to find chaos over here, b/c we're moving to our new home today - but Jersey's doggie cookies are still unpacked. Yes, she promised to share.

The best way to get here will be climbing into a huge box and get mailed by UPS. We sadly won't have internet for a few weeks, so travelling by email won't be a good idea. I don't want you to get lost on your way, Homer :-)

Please tell Queen Mimi she's in my thoughts and I'm looking forward visiting Bloggingham Palace as soon as I'll be having internet.

Poor Homer... don't be skeered. Better to be outside than in the dungeon. She'll come 'round... you'll see ;)

Be strong, Homer.

Come on over, Homer. You're welcome anytime the Queen is having a royal fit.

It's OK, Homer. She would never actually HURT you -- she loves and depends on you too much! So just pretend to listen to her when she vents but send your mind off to the happy place. (Where is a puppy's happy place, anyway?)

Fish - You can say that again!

Sanni - I knew you would rescue me! I think Jersey is a cutie-pie. Maybe I'm even in love. I'd like to move to Germany with you and then to the new place, but don't tell the Queen. She's on a rampage!

Dawn - She's still moping this afternoon. It ain't pretty....
Can you talk to her for me?

Homer The Palace Dog said...

Charles - HELP!!!!!

P.S. Can I borrow your gun?

Homer The Palace Dog said...

Songbird - Shhhh!! She'll hear you. And I just got her settled down. I told her she was the most beautifulest Queen in the whole imaginary land of the internet and that nobody cared if she wasn't a real Queen cause in my heart she'd always be.....

and then she slapped me.

Awww...Gal... - I think I'm in puppy love with you!

You're a faithful servant, Homer. You're a good guard dog and peace keeper. And the fact that She can treat you this way is a sign of how much she trusts in your uncompromising love and devotion.

Yeah, She's a bit crazy sometimes, okay... a lot crazy, oftentimes. But gotta admit, that's part of her charm!

Ferd - Awww....what would I do without my Homer and friends like you.

Hang in there pup. I have a nice back patio you can use. I'd let you stay in the house, but Mr Tucker said no.

Sorry about that dude.
