Blogging For Peace ~ See Mimi Smile

I'm feeling just a little psychedelic. Retro. Like, dude, waaaaay back in the wayback machine. Mellow. In a peaceful Olivia Newton-John kinda way. That's as mellow as I get....if you know what I mean. .
There I was. Wondering what to post for Monday when in popped a fluffhead. Literally.

He's one cool cat.

From Mike the Mysterious .......
(The Adventures of One Serious Traveling Fluffhead) describes himself as "I speak only to other fluffheads, some of the more intelligent ones, to real, living, breathing furballs, and to some exceptionally sensitive humans. My words are transmitted directly into the mind. I have a great imagination and I'm very, very mysterious. I can do many magical things."

He sounds like the perfect guy.

I WONDER IF HE RIDES A MOTORCYCLE?

And I was all ready to ask him out on a groovy date (I can do that ya know...it's 2008 and my mother doesn't read my blog) when I realized he wasn't a real cat. Drats! That's too much mystery for me.
Next!
Haven't you noticed that love is in the air all over the blogosphere? People are so busy with their love lives they don't have time to blog. Something is definitely in the blwater (that's blog + water for all you non-blog speakers). Take Bobbie and Bunch for example.
They hopped on a peace globe and started smooching. And they're still at it!
If I have to look at them one more minute I'm going to volunteer myself for therapy. Momentarily. Of course I want them to be happy. But really. Do they have to be so...so.....lovey-dovey? Don't they know there's something called bletiquette (that's blog + etiquette....)?? We have laws against puuuuuurrrblic displays of affection too.
I can't take it anymore!

But I do have one friend whose mind is not on lip locks. Take Daisy The Curly Cat for example. She's a sensible cat. Practical. Logical. And perfectly sane when she's not chasing lizards and boiling them in a pot. No romance for her. No sirree... She even makes lists and carries a pencil! We're going shopping next weekend for pencil skirts, did I tell you?
Oops....I forgot about
Skeezix. Rats!!

Anybody who's anybody knows they've been in a hot and heavy romance for bleons (that's blog + eons for you....oh you know) -
even if he can't spell.

Guess I'll have to find something else to do next Saturday night.

Even hippie cat Skeezix is taken.
And I was feeling all tie-dye groovy with the peace vibe. I cartooned myself and everything!

Rats and double rats!
(I wonder if he noticed my psychedelic shirt?.....shh.....don't tell Daisy I said that.)

Now that the cat's out of the bag about my groovy blove-life, I might as well tell you about Karl and Ruis. Did you know they got MARRIED this weekend?
On a spaceship. See?

You see the strangest things in peace globe land. They wrote to tell me they'd be blogging for peace from their honeymoon suite. Don't they have - ahem - other things to do?
Anyway, it was a lovely ceremony.

I wonder if they live in California.......

This is Mimi Pencil Skirt reporting live from the hot and heavy love land of the peace globes.

I'll be back soon with another update and a royal proclamation announcing a really big blog event happening in forty-eight hours. It's....uh....something about.....Oh, I forget!

I think I need a cold shower.

Sigh.

I'm depressed.
I can't even get a date with a cat.

Excuse me a minute. It's the phone.

"Oh. Hello..mommm......no, of course not.....I don't care what Aunt Hilda says I am not on the Internet talking to fluffy stuffed animals in bandannas."

Click.
Maybe I'd better stick to humans.

I'm still trying to finish my post!

Oh...maybe you could have a date with Mr Tucker. The only problem is that he doesn't go outside. There must be a way around that.

Oh...he has a bit of a crush on Miss Daisy too.

Oh Mimi,
Now I wish I had time to make another.

But, since you are so mellow...I won't do that to you.

But, I do have one wee problem.

We are on a huge oversized load that is going from San Diego to Laredo, TX.

For a great deal of the time I probably will not have a signal.

Eeeekkkkkk.....so I need to get my post done tonight.

How do I get the code for the new globes?

Can you email it to me?

sunshinezdelight@yahoo.com

Oh I do hope so. Wow...I have my juices flowing tonight....and feel like decorating.

Please let me know how we can handle this? I don't want to miss the magical midnight hour.
Hugs and thanks,
Jackie:-)

P.S. Send another globe if you want to...sneaking away now..... Byeeeeeee.........

Karl lives in AZ and Ruis is in Europe, just FYI. But they travel the globe together and we're fortunate to have their love shared with us.

Didn't Miss Peach look so lovely in her pink (of course!) Hello Kitty groomsmaid dress?

Who knew THE social event in the blogging year would be a gay cat wedding aboard a spaceship? But as they say, there are no dry eyes in space!

Happy Peace Day, Mimi
love,
mo
