"What can I help you with today?" said the most robotic voice I've EVER heard.
"I'd like to speak to someone about changing my plan."
"I can help you with that!"
Me: "It's complicated. I'd like to speak with a real person."
Robot-Robbie: I AM a real person."
"Me: "You are most certainly NOT a real person. You sound just like an AI robot. Great impression!"
Robbie: "What makes you think I'm a robot?"
Me: "Have you HEARD yourself speak? You're doing this on purpose, right?"
Me: Darling?
Robbie: "No-one's-ever-told-me-I-sound-like-a-robot-before."
Me: "It's NOT a compliment!"

I got such a kick out of this. Automated messages drive me CRAZY! It is so hard to get through to a real person any more.
I especially hate, after being shifted from one automated spot to another, when you get to the end and THEY HANG UP ON YOU!!!! "Sorry, we cant help you. Goodbye." Gah!
I know! It's maddening! LOL
