#5 Changing Your Climate ~ Baby Snuggles!

My first granddaughter.
Oh, the dresses! The priss! The makeup!
 The pencil skirts!
A girl!!
 A beautifully powerful girl.

When I looked in the mirror today I saw my mother and a flash of little Bree. She’s a combination of all who love her past and present. My mother would have adored her crooked smile. I like to think they met somehow, somewhere, as one left the earthly plane and the other made an entrance.

We are connected in eternal ways - all of us - that only stardust and mirrors recognize. My granddaughter just landed here bathed in the wisdom of the universe.
I will pay attention.

  1. She is already smiling her joy at being here. Yay! You are going to enjoy her so much - granddaughters are so CUTE! We need to turn climate change around for her.

  2. Yes, Sherry! We can't wait for her generation to fix it. The babies are counting on us.

Mark - Hi from Bloggingham! Hope you are well, my friend.

  4. She is gorgeous ... my three "grands" are now ages 20, 13 and 10 ... and yet I remember each from the day they arrived and all through each milestone, each wonderful and amazing year. We are so blessed ... as you are now ... by these little ones and it is our responsibility, each and every day to keep "their" world safe, clean, strong and beautiful for them to grow up in, to grow old in.

  5. Thank you.

    Well said.
I know you are proud of those grands!
I can't even describe how they make me feel inside. It's like looking at little miracles sent just for you. **and then they go back home for changing diapers and feeding** LOL

I worry about their future. Our voices for change are important. How are we going to explain it to them later if we stop talking NOW?

I like to think we're raising up new voices not to replace ours, but to join ours.
