I only just saw this post, and I ...Bless you, Mimi! I only just saw this post, and I jumped straight back in time to 2006 and the beginnings of a wonderful idea.

Seems like others love the idea too... :-)

And there's so many other good people yet to reach...one peaceglobe at the time.

Sometimes I wonder the same, whether the struggle between good and evil will ever cease to exist, but then I remember that the majority of people are good. It is mostly the few in power that make the wrongs of the world happen. Everyone else is an innocent child that has developed a self-protective shell of defensiveness and avoidance as they've lived their life and learnt that they aren't strong enough, or powerful enough, to make a difference.

But...that's where they are learning they're wrong.

One thing November 4th highlights is that when one heck of a lot of good people join together with one goal, it gives each person, each part of the whole, power. Being part of something bigger gives a person a heck of good feeling and unites them, so they are no longer a lot of individuals with the same goal, but they become one movement towards that goal.

Such a simple idea as this day, posting a peaceglobe/peace post, is something everyone can understand and do in their own way. It's such simplicity that makes it so successful.

Thank you, Mimi, not only for coming up with the idea, but for keeping it going all these years! I know how much work you put into it (and I probably only know the half of it!) - You do a fantastic job! :-)

(((hug))) XXAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07078566889541507931noreply@blogger.com
