Monday Mimisms ~ Stresssssssssssss

It's such a small word. A lovely word really. Sexy even.
So why does it cause my stomach to crunch into knots?

Let's all say it together. Stress.
One more time. I couldn't hear you. STRESSSSsssssssssss.
Yes, that's better.

That wasn't so bad, was it?

I said to a friend this week, "Stress will kill ya!" It's so true.
So today, after waiting allllll day long to hear from one little CT scan report and having to wait another whole daaaaay tomorrow for another specialist to view the reports on my loved one, I shall try to deal with the stressssssssssssss a little better tomorrow.

The first order of business tonight will be a hot hot bath with Epsom salts. I don't need those fancy pearls of bubbles. Not since I discovered the healing properties of the epsom. You should try it. It's awesome.

Then I'm calling Greg who has been waiting for this promised communication from me for two days. And then I'm calling John (who doesn't know about Greg) because after all we're "only dating" and not joined at the hip. Can't a woman/girl have two gentlemen callers at once?
Now THAT'S the kind of stressssss I need.

In preparation for another night of worry (I can't help it) I did manage to purchase three new shades of lipstick today. I'm sure my doctor would approve of my techniques for distraction and lowering anxiety levels. Some people do yoga.
I buy lipstick.
Revlon's Fire and Ice, Coralberry (for those fruity days) and Loreal's Temptress Charmeuse.

See? I told you stress could be sexy.

Randy - I did not fall off the blog truck yesterday. The only way they could know about each other is if Homer told them.
Haven't you been paying attention?

Red - Sometimes Randy makes very good points. Wise guys.

And you'd better not tell either!!!

Do not underestimate Homer. He's been known to tell a tale or two.

Dawn - That dog has gotten me a ton of trouble in the past. He has a big mouth.

Temptress. Great color.I hope Greg likes it. And the other guy...I forgot his name.
(Just kidding!)
Having a pencil skirt moment on the blog here. Good to laugh after the day I've had.

Thanks for the support, as always.

"The only way they could know about each other is if Homer told them." This disturbs me because over the years I have come to suspect Homer is susceptible to both bribes and flattery.

Gal - Well, he DID say he was going to the pub around the corner for the evening. He's not home yet. Where IS that dog and what tail(tale) is he wagging now....

Thanks for being so astute.

A good bath helps me relieve stress, but then I stress out about how much time I'm wasting in the tub.
