Georgia Rain and That Soul Vacation

Drove through Cherokee country.....rain....sunshine....rain......HOT ATLANTA HEAT....did I mention hot?

Met some lovely people.
Was entertained by one such young 'un (that's southern for mere child) with a fingered tattoo routine at dinner. Meet "The Digits"

She was most amusing!

Now I'm traveling north, where surely a beach somewhere is calling my name... I will be in touch on my next stop and write more later.

And remember Bloggy People, what happens in Atlanta,
stays in Atlanta.

What a coincidence you should mention Atlanta - we are just in the process of planning a trip which starts in Atlanta probably next May!

So are you planning on going to the Paperhand Puppet Intervention any time in August? You think this was fantastic? I'm told that's a must-see performance.

It looks overcast. I bet it was humid. I don't like humid.

I would so love to meet up Mimi. I'll let you know our itinerary once we've booked and hopefully it might be possible. :)

You sure took a roundabout way to the beach! I assume there was a visit somewhere along the way!

I love the saying on the welcome sign as you entered Georgia: "We're glad Georgia's on your mind." Very musical!

Glad you are enjoying your summer!!!
