Buds and Bouquets

My babies were dying. The crocus, the daffodils, the camellia.
Mother Nature planned a surprising temperature drop last night.
They had to come in last evening
.

So I clipped and I snipped....

and got my hands dirty

To find
this bud

and that bud

and even his bud...

all over the house
Blooming...
in the morning sun

in vases

and baskets
and empty tea pitchers

P.S.
I picked 'em for you too
Enjoy

Those are just gorgeous, we don't have anything even close to resembling buds or flowers here in Connecticut yet. Heck, I haven't even seen a daffodil yet!

Thank you for picking these for us, your Majesty!

Beautiful. I walked out the front door of our office building to go over to Subway at lunch, and the tulips were in full bloom.

Fantastic!

Gorgeous pics! I just saw a teeny stand of daffodils on the corner, being beaten down by rain and it made me sad. Now I feel better!

Vodka Mom - These are actually camellias but I do have white peonies that I'm waiting on. I'll send you a pic when they bloom!

I love all of those gorgeous bouquets of flowers. I wish I could smell the daffodils.

In muy former yard, I had something that bloomed every month of the year. At my new home, not very much to look at. A few transplants from former home. I do have a lot of dogwoods. That will have to suffice for now. I am doing container gardening.

Katherine - Thank you! I enjoyed them.

Pam - I adore dogwoods. Are they pink or white?
