They Stood For All

Watch this amazing video clip of soldiers at attention during a funeral at Arlington Cemetery. A storm blew in. They never even flinched, carrying out their duty in the middle of a wind and rain storm - even as a hat blew off.
To say "thank you" is not enough for all the soldiers, past and present, who served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice. We honor them this weekend.

I was never a military man myself, but I've always respected the role of the soldier in the defense of their loved ones.

Charles - Well said.

This is what Memorial Day is all about - not hot dogs and cook-outs and big sales at the mall. It's about remembering those men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice to keeping our country safe and free.

My thanks to all of them from the Revolutionary War right up to the present.
