Blue Fog In Bloggingham

I walked out this morning to find Bloggingham surrounded by a thick presence of blue. These are straight out of the camera. Come with me....

From the back deck. It's early. I am still sleepy.
The sky opened up.
I am hidden in a place where no one sees.
Up in the trees
under a blanket of blue

Ah. Morning magic.

Simply breathtaking Mimi! The wispiness and the layering of the fog is lovely!

What Lois said. I'd snuggle up and just enjoy the day. Hope that's what you do. It's back to the grind come Monday.

Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)

Great shots Mimi, love the tree silhouettes in the fog. Your rock'en the royal camera! :D

Another blogging friend of mine, Mighty Mom at My Wonderful Life posted pictures about fog today and had some lovely sentiments to go along with them. If you get the chance, go check them out!

Also, Princess Patti and I have been kicking around the possibility of a road trip to Blogginham for that slumber party you mentioned maybe in March when the kids would be home to take care of Ralph. What's your schedule look like around mid-March, your Highness?

It is SO much better than all the snow I see outside my studio. Great pics!

Much more 'magical' than the FOG in my neighborhood yesterday shared in my Haiku Sky Watch Friday post.
Hugs and blessings,

There are days when the gloom settles in around us here, and because of the trees surrounding us it seems like we're in some remote place with no one else around.

I love the way that feels.

Beautiful! There's something about a mist :O)

Those are gorgeous! I want to live where you live! I either want to live somewhere totally rural or right in the heart of a big city. The Burb's kinda give me hives =)

Julie - Maybe there are blue peace globes flying around the castle giving off a blue aura. Cue Star Trek music please.

Lois - It was a great cocoon day...

Mimi Lenox said...

Shannon - It did seem magical.

Sandee - Don't remind me.

Roger - I point and shoot. But I'm learning. Thanks.

Linda - My schedule is looking good for March. Sounds like a plan! That would be so awesome.

Mimi Lenox said...

Bud - Be safe.

Happily - I will check it out.

Travis - That's exactly how it felt this morning.

Nurse- Glad you enjoyed them.

Muse - The camera must go wherever I go.

Mimi Lenox said...

Babs - The mist....yep. There's a great song called Misty Morning too.

Starr - Thanks. I am in the middle of nowhere on three acres of trees. The house is at the foot of a little mountain but high enough to feel like I'm up in the trees still when I walk outside. I love the privacy.

I should have posted McLachlan's "Answer" with these pictures. Cast me gently into morning sounds about right....

Charles- It's nice being cool.

Very ominous and yet very pretty!

Katherine - This morning it was incredibly thick and blue....maybe there are peace globes hovering around.

OK. MIMI. Snap out of it and put down the Chardonnay.

Tammy - Great word to describe it. It was!

Beautiful pics. Fog is so mysterious!

I absolutely love days like that - they really do have a magical quality to them. Makes you want to stare out the window while huddled inside next to the fire with a blanket wrapped around you (and if you're lucky, a certain special someone)...

That blanket of blue stretched all the way to Raleigh, Your Highness. But I'm happy to report that it burned off in time for me to visit the State Capital with my photography group and get some interesting photographs in the afternoon. Fog is kind of neat, but it doesn't give a lot of opportunities for variety in photography. :0)

Gorgeous phog photos, Mimi. Or is that fog fotos?
Such mystery in them.

I don't know about long drives, though. Duchess Linda is jumping the royal gun here.

Oh, wow!! That kind of weather speaks to me. I really need to go back to England. It's where I belong...
