Monday Mimisms Mosaic Picture Meme: Naked On A Horse?

I should have known anything stolen would end up scolding scandalous. That's what happens when you covet your bleighbor's (that's blog + neighbor's for all you non-blog speakers) meme. Somebody makes a meme, tags all the tots in the cul-de-sac, and perpetuates the blime (that's blog + crime...oh you know) and before you know it, you've got yourself a massacred meme.
And that was before I even touched it!

See. I was standing around memeing my own business when some guy at a tape radio station across blog town who is famous for stealing memes on Sunday and calling it a "Feature" (oh please) absconded said meme in question: The Mosaic Picture Meme. Nobody knows where it blog-birthed from but somebody said he was an infamous (and self-proclaimed) thief of all meme thieves. I guess that would make him a mieve?
And he didn't break a single tile! But he did break the rules.
I'm shocked.

Truth be told, it's a great meme! In fact, I like the new rules and thought I would share them with you. Here's what he has to say about this splendid new meme he accidentally stole found somewhere in blogland. It could just be the best meme since The Rock Bands were formed. Feel free to gleefully rip this off from me. Because really. If you all become blieves I'll feel better about myself. And maybe I won't go to blell. (That's.....oh you know! Do I have to tell you everything?)

The Mosaic Picture Meme
The Concept:

This Meme is all about the Mosaic Collage that you are about to build by answering the questions in this meme by using pictures! First what was changed: The meme we stole required the use of programs that you needed to register to use. So it was tied to you downloading two programs (and learning them...) Here we do the same meme, the exact same way, but leave you to your own resources. We also simplified the rules to allow a bit more creative (and speed!).
So here we go:
1. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Google Image Search or same type of search engine for pictures.

2. Using only the first page of results, pick one image. You can't search forever for a certain image.

3. Copy and paste each in any program that you can post the pictures in a mosaic pattern. You can post them 3 X 4 or 4 X 3. We used Microsoft Paint.
The questions:

1. What is your first name? Mimi

2. What is your favorite food? Cheetos

3. What high school did you go to? Royal Academy of Blog Queens

4. What is your favorite color? Royal blue

5. Who is your celebrity crush? Richard Gere

6. What is your favorite drink? Godiva poured seductively in a cup of steaming hot coffee (gosh......I hope there's a picture of THAT!)

7. What is your dream vacation? Italy

8. What is your favorite dessert? Cheesecake

9. What do you want to be when you grow up? a retired author (doesn't that sound exciting?)

10. What do you love most in life? Family

11. What is one word that describes you? Impossible

12. What is your blog name? Mimi Writes

I told you I was naked on a horse with Richard Gere. It's so blandalous Queen Elizabeth's eyes are closed in prayer. Cheetos anyone?
I royally tag anyone who happens by my blog today and: Olga, Bond, Linda, Lois, Daisy, Barbara, Barb, Mummy, Morgen, and Lizza

And remember, I haven't thrown anyone in the dungeon in quite awhile.
I've got the blitch. So to speak. Enjoy!
P.S. I'll try to get dressed before tomorrow's post.

To the Queen of Bloggenham Palace ( the one that does not have her eyes closed ),
Thou has't tagged me for a meme.

I'am very honored.
But... wrong URL; beaten by a hyphen :
http://family-counts.blogspot.com/
Just FYI.
I will get this meme started after I return from my trip next week.

Have a great day.

A blime? I never realized that blealing a meme was a blajor bloroblem. I promise to be more blareful. I blink...

I did a similar meme not long ago, but all I had to do was post the pictures I found as answers to the questions. And I don't recall if they were the same questions.

Hmmmmm...

I do like the collage aspect, but fear that attempting same may send my tech-challenged brain into all kinds of wonkiness.

Mimi Lenox said...

Bud - Blwhat?

Mimi Lenox said...

Travis - Wonkiness excuse accepted!

Good one, Mimi. I will have to crash the party later and give it a try!

I'm with Travis here. I like the collage, but it might not be something my brain could handle.

Mimi Lenox said...

Sandy - Please do! And don't forget the peony pics.

Patti - Your Princess brain can handle anything my dear. You're royalty for heaven's sake....sigh.
Haven't I taught you anything?

Bond - There's a dungeon with your name on it, buster!

Oh blast, I've been royally tagged which means I'd best do this rather challenging meme at some point in time. Of course, I could use that "get out of the dungeon free" card that I have but that somehow just doesn't seem fair to those who don't have that advantage.

Give me some time and I shall see if I can scrape up some creativity. In the meantime, I'm just going to sit here and drool over Richard Gere for a bit ...

Mimi Lenox said...

Linda - Of course, you can play fair and refuse to cash in on special privileges if you wish (although I'd miss your creative results) OR you can take advantage of the fact that you DID buy the Queen's dinner last we met.
I'd say that qualifies for a get-out-of-dungeon-free-card.

You're welcome.

O.K. you snagged me once again. How do you do this? I've spent the last hour Googling images. It's one of my many weaknesses, but it's too much fun.

Now...I know this is a dumb question, but I know you'll help me with this. Once I get the collage/mosaic made and posted on my blog, how do I 'meme' it?

Now I really have to get back to my day job...not so fun, but it pays the bills.

Mimi Lenox said...

rahmama - It IS fun but I do understand about the bills. I am currently seeking a position as a professional memer. I think I'm qualified but the market is practically nil. Anyway....to "meme it" you just copy the rules at the top of my post into your own and tag anyone you wish. It's that simple.
Can't wait to see your mosaic. Please let me know when you're finished and I'll link to the post. Good luck!
